Yeah, I would've like it to be more natural as well, but they dubbed it because the university they filmed had at had too much background noise, and the actors themselves couldn't dub it because of busy schedules. But the series itself is great, so I'm okay with it being dubbed. :)

China must try to see what they're good at and what they are not. They're just asking for criticisms if they try to copy where others succeed. I think they make wonderful "historic" productions. In my honest opinion, the Chinese one was better. I've watched both, and sure, the Korean one had hot guys, but the Chinese version was much better in terms of acting and storyline. The guys in the Chinese version may not appear that good looking at first, but their personality in the drama and the overall feel is much better than the Korean version.

uh....he had surgery after debut, & it wasn't predebut pics only. It was screenshots of his appearances on other series and stuff versus his promotional pics (taken by reporters, not in mags during BOF) AND screenshots of BOF scenes
I honestly think that the korean version was the best. Upon the good looking guys the plot was great thought it did lack some things here and there but overall it was a great drama. I think china upon Boys before Flowers' success just wants to make more money because they've already have meteor garden and meteor garden II and rain. Its kinda ridiculous now watching the same plot over and over again.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to this drama. it seems really interesting and I just hope it'll be better than the Korean version. I literally stopped watching it at episode 15 because the plot was horrible and the casts are not very good actors/actresses.

I saw a few episodes of the Korean version and honestly, that was the worst version. I still think Metoer Garden wass the best, but I love the Japanese version too. Technically, when I saw the Korean version, the story passes so fast and it seems more of a music video than a drama. Plus, the casts don't fit the characters either. The producers found the worst person to play Jandi (female lead). Plus, the only reaason people like Korean version so much is because the boys are good looking.

China (PRC) and Taiwan (ROC) are different. So, Meteor Garden where Jerry, Vic, ... acted as F4 is not the same as these Mainland actors.
I also think Korean version is the best.

Second, please check the real story behind it before believing rumor, cause this is not based on Hana Yori Dango..it's a different storyline.
Third, you can insult their looks, but you might need the opthamologist to see the plastic faces in Korean version.
