Good things about the 60's...neighbors spoke to each other, no need to lock the front door when you left the house, kids played outdoors without fear, we rode our bikes to the store, jobs still had retirement programs and long term employees were cherished, music was still written and performed on instruments, not computers...

Thanks, great video, brings back a lot of memories. I remember sitting in front of the TV and watching the Ed Sellivan Show when the Beetles came on. I was like 8-9 years old. I remember Viet Nam and when I graduated from H.S. in 73' , me and a buddy joined the Air Force together and a few of our friends went into the Army, 3 didn't come back. I have many great memories of the 60's and 70's.

The younger generation in the 60s had the guts and CARED to protest the war that this younger generation doesnt have, they are too consumed with self to CARE what's going on in the world. They only care about their cell phones, iPods, and Facebook accts. The 60's generation, music and leaders were the best we ever had.

@HeartInThe60s The 60's were wonderful. Everyone cared about each other, almost everything was affordable, no fights or drunks in the streets, "RESPECT" was the key word and everyone stuck by it, music was great, tv and movies were great, stories were great, it was just overall brilliant!

It was a hell of a lot safer aswell. You could go out without being worried you'd get burgled or mugged because there were very strict laws back then. I fear for today's society. Hopefully it'll clear up

i don't know how you could mention the 60's and not mention Bob Dylan, a lot of the Beatles later shit wouldn't have been as great as it was without Dylan's input and vice versa. also the whole folk revival thing was ignored as well, which Dylan also part of. Just wondering?
