6V92TA, "I got a question for you" Is Detroit Diesel really coming out with a Series 45, or did you meant the DD15 engine?
It is a real shame Cat is going to stop producing highway engines.

Wow that sucks! looks like Cummins ISM will be the future of the MCI D4500CTs and D4505 and D4005s.

nah...Detroit Diesel is currently working on the Series 45. Its already out in some Freightliner Columbia and Century series trucks. The Series 60 will continue to be offered as the standard engine for MCI.
