so sick of all these comments about people who think they know what real music is and how bieber and shit are all fake. sure this is great music and i dont quite like bieber and co, but its just personal preference. chill the fuck out and enjoy the things that you personally enjoy
Caliver would love to do A Take Away but we need your help! visit calivermusic.bandcamp.com and enjoy our lovely acoustic music and help us achieve our goal of having our music heard and appreciated!!
The thing I like about "Tightrope" is how versatile the melody is- the versions in this video, the live video from "Dark Was The Night," and the recorded version are all so different, yet recognizably the same. Yeasayer, despite being heavily electronic in their recordings, displays such a high level of musicianship in their live performances.
i could see myself making love to that girl/woman at the front that is 'involved' whilst listening to yeasayer's catalogue.. her clothes would look good on my carpet..
god the one time I would not be frowned upon for being fd up and having pitstains and I miss. Would of been a fun time with that brittany murphy look alike
I saw them live in chicago december 30th 2010 their show before the new years show. needless to say it was fantastic, we were some of first people thru the door, i was about 4 rows back from the front of the stage right in the middle. one of the best shows i've ever been to! them playing 2080 as the last song was VERY moving.
It’s a New Year/ I’m glad to be here/ It’s a fresh spring/ So let’s sing.

It's when they sound better in a cramped house with people smoking and singing out of tune and they still sound better live then recorded that you know you have just found real music
I'm pretty much in love with these guys. If I'd been there, I probably would have to be pried off of one or more of them with a crow bar... that is, if I even got my wits together enough to stop standing there looking like I was seeing Jesus.
Look at the fucking energy in this band. They are so in love with music, and that is saying a lot these days about bands. You hear shit on the radio everyone just needs to take shots and bop their fucking heads to but they don't actually enjoy the music. This band did something for me, but I apologize for ranting. :)
"Y a des gens qui travaillent, vous vous en foutez peut-être (...) y a un respect" blablabla. Tu mérites surtout qu'on te jette des cailloux dessus oui
Guitarguy - Yea I was at the Masquerade in ATL. The show was awesome. I got some great pics and my buddy got some video. We made friends with these 3 girls from DC and drank a ton of XX beers. I think the opener was "The key to music" they were pretty good. Then some homeless guy walked with us for like 8 blocks and escorted us to the subway and talked about how awesome the Ravens were. We gave him like $5 and then blacked out at this bar with a fountain.
Great stuff...its also hilarious to watch the little girl in the white. She wants to know the words so bad but just doesn't quite know them. She still opens her mouth and pretends to sing though...its killing me ha ha
This seems like a perfect random night! I can honestly say I have had only 1 experience like this ... makes my toes tingle with nostalgia. These guys are on another level. Cant wait to see them on Saturday in Atlanta.
this kinda reminds me of MGMT's "Time to Pretend". these guys are living my dream- going around the world and playing beautiful music with beautiful people
