I'm an American, and I watch these reports by Al Jazeera in hopes of seeing the other sides views, but again and again it seems Al Jazeera is not interested in truth, but only painting America badly.
300,000 U.S. Troops & contractors (with guns) pointed at Iraqis occupying every city, neighborhood and place-- BUT -- hey...they are FREE to negotiate U.S. presence "based on circumstances"??? WHO GETS TO DECIDE WHEN THE CIRCUMSTANCES ARE RIGHT FOR THE OCCUPIERS TO GO?? Is it the oil thieving Texas oil cabal or the Iraqi government?? Crazy 2C fag diplomat trying to keep bush war going AFTER THE CRIMINALS LEAVE OFFICE..... Lotsa luck bubbah.....the 3 billion a week gonna break da BANK (USA)
fuck you! we fight for our country to stay safe you wanna fucking tell us were goin to go in bodey bags you ass hole then you need to stay out of america!!!
have you any idea of the costs that go with driiling wells and pipelines? wow, still repeating that dem matra. I suggest you read more than mySpace and watch CNN.
anything profitable usually becomes privatized for the captial owning elites, taxpayers foot the bill for making the venture profitable and get no return. this is how the US captialist economy functions; the state sector develops and innovates with taxpayer money through state-programs (computers, internet, nasa, weapons, etc., etc.), then it is privatized to unnacountable property/capital holding elites who get the return for taxpayer investment, simply becuase they are already wealthy.
Republicans need the PR for McCains's campaign , that's all this about...our soldiers and Iraqi citizens will still be dying!....what a bunch of BS!!!
So US army will be present in US indefinitely ... is that the essence? What is Iraq "democratic" government's approval rating? Will all party be willing for an referendum on this agreement? We have seen 3 such referendums already since 2003, right?
yes, in time that will happen. it was 15 years before Germany and Japan got back in the game. I know many hard working Iraqis who want to excel. They are learning. after 40 years of a ruthless regime they cannot do it over night. If you took a liberal out of his secure govt or college facutily position do you think he could learn to be a master plumber in five years?
a sovereign government can never be imposed by outside force; was east germany a sovereign government, what about south vietnam during the indochina wars? the government only exists becuase of US presence, end of story. iraqis are perfectly capable of running their own country and there were many trained professionals in the country that have been pushed off by sectarian conflicts initiated and continually promoted by US forces. iraqis do not need the US to run thier lives.
The U.S. has over 700 bases throughout the world, these numbers speak for itself.
