  • Thanks for the upload!

  • ant cam is a pussy

  • I've only been bitten once, and dont want to get bitten again lol

  • Stupid sound effects

  • got bitten by a jack jumper the other day with a dirtbike glove on. My finger is now twice the size and sting's like all fuck.

  • These ants chase you when you run away

  • Guys these ants are hard as fuck to kill me and my friend keep stomping on one and it wouldn't fucken die

  • the jack jumper ant doesn't give a shit, it just takes what it wants

  • Got bit on my foot today in Tasmania visiting rellies in the front yard on a lawn.,. Severe pain for ten minutes and a red mark and tenderness all day. Glad I'm not allergic. They are EVERYWHERE here. Nerver took them seriously before. Now I'm paranoid!!!! Really nasty little buggers.I had three opn my feet and wiped off the other two before they stung me.

  • wow, not one correct abbreviation of "they're" on the whole comment page.

  • They sound like humans minus the sting - basically aggressive cnts

  • A beekeeper suit is suppose to keep out bees not ants bees are at least 2 times the size of these little devils so the jack jumpers can find a small opening and get in which bees can't do because their too big

  • some WD40 and my steel toe workboots will put these buggers in their place

  • I think that might be proof that God is sadistic? How do you create an insect that contains insecticide?

  • WHERE IS THAT CHILD'S MOTHER????

  • Who would film this? Who would STAY here to film this?

  • @PoppyB2011 and they were filming with sandals on

  • How do people live here and not get killed?

  • See if they like diesel fuel on there nest

  • give me a shotgun a beekeeper suit and they are dead

  • @koenlol1: They would get into the suit man. And the shotgun wouldn't even kill them all.

It would probably kill a couple, and piss the others off.

Unless, of course, you used fire rounds in the gun.

  • @MrUHaveASpiderVagina fire rounds are fucking nice :D

  • ill just feed them to the water ;)

  • Ha if i was to turn into ant i would use a riot shield and grab loads of grenades ;D

  • So their venom can kill anyone or just people who are allergy to the sting?

  • @ADRIEL296 - Just those who are susceptible anaphylaxis and do not receive treatment in time.

  • @bcmalreadythere thanks after three months I finally got an answer

  • fuckin straya.

  • KILL`EM ALL

  • @MrUHaveASpiderVagina KILL THEM WITH FIRE

  • if the world was invaded by these, excape plan: space ship to go to the moon, 4 thousand rockets (to shoot at earth from the moon), beef jerky (if i get hungry).

  • Jack Jumper > Japanese Giant Hornet

  • wanna get a nightmare from ants? watch the movie swarm

  • @NoCutCard if you get bitten enough you could be a lucky one and develope an imunity, like i have. they're everywhere, so you cant really avoid em lol

  • Australia is the last place i want to visit

  • On the island of Tasmania, south of Australia? Tasmania is part of Australia!!!

  • Man I have been bitten shit loads of times and after a while u get use to it.

In Australia, or Victoria at least, we call them jumping jacks or skip jacks not Jack jumper ants

  • @AZZZATHESPAZZA

You get used to it? You must be one hard dude.

  • I ain't never going to australia..

  • dam i love nature, ive been watching this stuff since i was 5 and i never knew of this ant. imagine that, one of the smallest dwarfs everything else danger wise

  • That's just frickin' scary O_o

  • Comment removed

  • thats how we roll in south oz

  • I got bitten as a youngster by *one* bullant and went into anaphylactic shock.

When I was 15 I nearly plonked my bare ass onto a convenient mound on the ground, not knowing it was a jack jumper nest. If I hadn't serendipitously looked down at the last minute and seen them, I don't think I would have survived. My closest call with death ever!

  • ...frakkin annoying tags on this video...why would anyone subscribe!?

  • Why the fuck is that guy wearing flip-flops?

  • all of the sudden...i really like spiders

  • @MjXllcommando, hehe i know right

  • Ooooooooo

  • Killer Ants is the name of the Doc

  • im not allergic gotten bitten about 100 times lol i dont give a shit anymore

  • yeah let's sweep the grass in our thongs

  • ahhh! ant spray is appreciated

  • jeez dying by ants must be a shitty way to die.

  • The ants in my country (Denmark) can only lift small sand corns, this ant just walks around with small rocks, and with an attitude that says 'Come close - I'll fuck you up'.

    What the fuck ...

  • I am not been biased but Australia is the most amazing country, the mix between prehistoric an modern land an the most lethal creatures an animals living with the people is epic

  • @vsboy25 Watch out for their "Drop Bears"!

  • how old is this documentary because i remember watching this like 6 or 7 years ago

  • get me a beekeeper suit, a lifetimes suply of raid, and a ticket to Tasmania. I will be happy to decimate the population of these ants

  • @memorydetective Sorry to tell you buddy but even if you had a Beekeeper suit it wouldn't keep you safe against these monsters.

  • @memorydetective They are all over Australia.. Good luck.

  • @memorydetective i'd need a bomb suit

  • Man, you Oceanians have some nasty-ass creatures.

  • @Bastista1 yep!!! black windows, great white sharks, funnel web spiders, salt water crocodiles... Australia is a dangerous place!

  • @Michaelasds

Australia is a prehistoric continent, even the locals look weird.

  • Huh. Had no idea they were deadly. Me and my friends always ate lunch near a nest of the tiny buggers in high school. They were on a cliff type of thing and since they never climbed up, we were fine.

Though considering we were young, we often threw pebbles or poked their nest with a stick.

  • the venum is 30 times more powerful than a wasp sting

  • THATS 1 BAD ASS ANT :D

  • 4:12=BACK OFF BITCH!

  • wats more worse?

walking into a hive of these ants or

taking a squat when one of these ants decides to be a prick?

  • thats where i live lol how awsome is that :D

  • I live with these nasty and highly aggressive ants everyday when I venture out to my backyard and as the film suggests they are intensely aggressive, territorial and pack a highly nasty bite that can last for days. Thankfully I'm not allergic to them, but still treat there presence very seriously

These and European wasps are my least favorite insects

  • @tarkineWild sure there not Brit backpackers like me?

  • i can't see why these get such a deadly rap, i grew up in the astralian bush an was beatin many times as a boy and not once was taken to hospital,

  • i can't seem to understand how these ant's are so deadly, i grew up in the astralian bush an have been beatin many times by these ant's an not once have i had to rush to hospital

  • @MrLroy22 you would only have been bitten if you live in tassie and I also have been bitten but if you are not allergic to them its just a bit like a ciggie burn.....

  • These fuggers are the meanest animals alive, period.

Australia, where anything can AND will, kill you.

  • one of the most badass insects in the world......next to the Giant Hornet

  • man that's got to suck getting bit in the balls

  • *in heaven*

bob: so tom, how did you die?

tom: (sigh) I got bit by an ant...

    bob: O_O

  • Dude, that's just pure torture....

    Fuck. It's wrong.

  • Ant - 00.002 grams weight.

    Man with flamethrower- 89.000 kilograms

... and the winner is: human

  • Lol I thought that Tas was part of the country :p.

The buggers may be more numerous there but live on the mainland too, almost as far north as Sydney.

  • @ahollenden a flamethrower, thats what

  • Even though they're small, they're pretty intimidating.

  • 01:01 =

Camera man: Hey get off it! hey, heeey! heeelp...!!! GRRRRR... GRRRR

  • Oh shit haha - I started an ant colony with these critters, and I guess now I'm glad I've always been overly cautious of being bitten/stung :O I'm gonna have to triple the secuity on the ant tank now - I mean, seriously triple the security... I'm now getting quite worried as the ant tank/nest is next to my bed 8| f**k me ,

  • I wish I could see these things vs army ants. that would be the most spectacular ant battle ive ever seen although my money goes to the army ants who fight like miniature demons

  • @confederatekid3

well 10 vs 10, lets face it, these jack jumpers would win.

jack jumpers are more like professional knights....they are fewer in number but the strongest of the strong.

army ants are like...well...the army......huge power in numbers

1 vs 1 I bet a 1 inch bulldog ant could take on almost any insect...

  • i just saw a picture of this ant with wings. ANTS LIKE THESE DEFINITLY DON'T NEED WINGS lol but i don't live in Australia anyway .

  • i thought the most dangerous creature was women all over the world

sammich please is there secret shut off switch

  • holy shit!

that thing's like the chuck norris of ants!

  • tha ants like get da fuck outa my face bitch i do what i want

  • This is why I don't like australia, you get owned by everything! Insects, spiders, snakes crocs, jellyfish, octopus, sharks. I went there for a holiday and couldn't lie on my mates back lawn.

  • When i was four years old I sat on a nest of these guys, and got bitten all over my arms and legs, lucky for me i was not allergic so nothing too bad happened to me. This film does not show how fast these ants actually move, it would have to be the fastest ant (for its size) i have ever seen. There were also ants called "itchmen" which were HUGE, size of an itch if not longer. They weren't as bad as the fast jack jumpers (who could actually jump on you from the ground)

  • The sound effects for the ants are hilarious

  • lol looked like the thewasp was HUGE

  • vhjv

  • 100,000s? more like 1,000.000.000s

  • they are strong for us is a litle stone nothing but 1 jumper jack can drag a stone is impressive

  • What's name of this documentary? I loved this one years ago. Also, is there a complete documentary online?

  • @antdude

I'll have to get back to you about the full doco. i have it, but I am not planning to upload all of it.

This particular segment has about 5-6 minutes edited out to fit the YT time limit of ten minutes.

If I can find the full doco file (maybe I deleted it already) then I will PM you and arrange to send to you if possible.

  • OK. :) You could upload as parts.

  • Nice video dude. :)

    ~Snakedangerous

  • Hey slk! Have you found a six-eyed sand spider video yet?

  • @antdude killer ants, something a long those lines, i watched it on the science channel the other day

  • @porsh24 Thanks.

  • excellent!!! really well made and oooh so true, was stung last summer, full on anaphalactic shock, heart 160bpm, blood pressure 70 over something, 2 ambulances, lucky for good neighbours as was home alone, am currently doing the immunisation program and its real fun....NOT!!, ,, check out "jack jumpers getting angry" for something a lot more amatuerish!!

  • Oh my god... killer ants ty for the info

  • hey cool, jackjumpers are famous! I live in Hobart, and it's kinda weird that this doco isn't exaggerated like most deadly animal shows Australia gets. It doesn't mention how stupid they are though, seriously they will chase you down (slowly) and try and bite a person a million times their size, and their tough too >:(..

    thanks for posting!

  • Even though these ants are dangerous they protect wild life.

Only reason why they attack is because our giant friggen feet are walking around stomping on the ground and there like WTFREAK!!

But besides that they help Australia/Tassie

  • hehehe, another aussie terror. Proudness

Come to australia! u might accidently be killed... ur blood is bound to be spilled!

  • haha now ANTS can kill, what next? evil vampire pidgeons??!!

  • only people with an allergy

  • Ha ha ha ha! Well no. The smallest of animals almost always almost have poison or an other defense. Like us, we make special wepeon's. We need to know that we are not the only smart, but the are very, very deadly. Like one bit of the Black Widow spider can be deadly within seven days. The BWS ( Brazilian Wandering Spider ) is the deadliest spider on Earth. One dry bit can kill you within 20 minutes.

  • ive got around 2 nests of these bastards out back (but they aren't jumpers) im pretty sure they are just normals ones because i live in victoria not tassie. i got stung on the tip of my thumb and it hurt like a ************** and a **** and *******!!!!!!

  • take a look at my red bullant upload - quite good.

  • @beardeddragon95 lol i did somthing crazy is i found 4 nests of army ants

i poored charqek sh et on the next on all 4 and i put some m8s about 5 per next and i lit it it was a fun show i was how do u like how my shi t works

cus it bit me and it was ahhaha i got a biter!!!!! and i was like oh fu ck u

  • @beardeddragon95 I am interested in owning these ants, would you allow me to pay you for a captured queen?

You would capture her during their "swarming" period, when lone newly mated queens are walking around. If you where able to capture one during that time, I would gladly pay you for sending her to me. :) If so, PM me.

  • wow! Jack Jumper... wot a wonderful nice critter... thnx 4 postin! brilliant as usual

  • I was unaware there were Ant Species That Sting. I suppose i shouldn't be surprised though. They are after all Close Relatives of the wasps and other Colony insects.

  • That was a particularly nice upload, really enjoyed it. Thanks Slk320k!

  • hmmmm i cant seem to understand why people need to be so rude..... Anyhow, nice video tho.

  • SON OF A BITCH! one ant can make u go to hospital imagine if 20of them stung u at the sametime!we should nuke australia b4 dese ants get any further

  • @submyfavorite its tasmania not australia

  • @submyfavorite

typical american reply.. if something isnt right nuke it >.< id like to nuke your face

  • @submyfavorite i sorta agree.. but i think they should move the people somewhere safe before the nuke :p or atleast the children lol

  • @submyfavorite lol, if we do that, there would be fucking nukes flying everywhere.

  • This is brilliant. Ive never heard of these guys before. Thankyou
