  • lol this made me laugh

  • lol, the chicken guy is the best

  • wow, nice! these are really good!!!! :D ps just a tip, ppl say generally not to start a walk cycle with twinning (parallel) legs...but its better than I could do so congrats :D

  • I agree. A studio will throw a reel in the been if they see that.

  • dont like

  • How do you do hand drawn animation? I mean.. do you scan the drawings or.. what?

  • First you want to see how the motion looks,

you then photo the drawings with a camera that "looks" down, and place your drawing under it. Then, when you think it's right, you scan it in!

Hope it made any sense ~~

  • How do you think they made it before computers buddy?

Pretty much 24 frames a second, drawn on paper, shot individually on film. Finished stuff usually is put on cels, on top painted backgrounds, but this is only the rough stuff this man is showing.

  • waaay too long. it should only be about half as long, with more energy and faster cuts.

  • good stuff. your reel would look better though if you didnt play everything twice - the viewer can become uninterested. keep it up

  • No, He/She didn't

  • Actually, that's how you spell "Reel" as in film reel, not reality.

  • oh srry my bad

  • LOL love that chicken man..but the old man part was cool..very great animation

  • dude you are a genius you should so have a cartoon show on tv have you ever thought about it? i want to do stuff like this i'm gonna need a bunch of patience and a lot of camera memory room and a tripod/camera stand thing so yeah! i don't have money to spend on getting istopmotion so i'm gonna try to use windows movie maker if it'll work smoothly cuz... it kinda sux!

  • you should break the joints in the arms to make em swing smoother.

  • would love to know your technique/process as far as importing them and making them move in imovie!

  • i didn't make the animation with imovie, i drew them, and then used a mac program called istopmotion to make it and then put the movie together with imovie. if you want to get istopmotion you can buy it online for like $40. i hope that helps!

  • do you have to have a mac to get istopmotion?

  • yeah

  • damn, I've been looking for a cheap program i can use to make stop motion. movie maker is getting frustrating.

  • have you tried digicel?

  • Nice.
