I am neither a both a trinitarian or oneness Pentecostal. I am a Christian. I am apart if a baptist church and i believe Jesus is God as well as the holy spirit. I believe That in heaven only one God reigns. I simply believe in one God and worship him by his incarnation as Jesus. i honestly do not know why these two agrue you both believe there is only one God and that his son Jesus is he!!

It isn't your place to judge. That is God's - in the end at His Throne. Repentance is a working of God's grace, augmented by one's faith in the Good News. Interesting encounter, but it really should have been handled away from the lost. I'm oneness but I also understand that not all of oneness believers understand what the Bible says. Dante clearly didn't understand what the scriptures speak of when it comes to judging. The whole oneness and trinity debate is something I seriously believe that needs to be dropped. We're still brothers and sisters in Christ regardless of who believes God as one or God one in three persons. Be blessed.
If you notice what the bible says in Matthew 28:19-20 make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the "name" not in the names and what is that name? it's Jesus therefore doesn't that make Jesus the father and the Holy Ghost also. Oh yea and didn't the Word become flesh and the Word was God so God became flesh think about it sounds like trinity believers need to take a "selah" if you know what that means. The dictionary and a lot of studying could help you understand.

It messed my mind up before I got the Holy Ghost and I did not even understand the purpose of the cross. I am an openair evangelist and a fundamental/Pentacostal. There is no doubt in my mind that the UPC is cultic. They believe that for one to be saved they must be baptized in water and with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. All of this is in addition to repentance and the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. The UPC is extremely heavy-handed with their members and they also teach guidance by feelings apart from the Bible. Feelings guide doctrine - I witnessed this 1st hand.

If you watch the rest of the video you would have seen more on the discussion. The Bible clearly says to judge righteously John 7:24, Proverbs 31:9, 1 Cor 2:15.

The young man was not well-established in his own faith. He should have been able to explain that Jesus is the son of God after the flesh (the man who prayed in the garden, the man who was baptized), but that the Spirit of God in him was the Father--who is the one true God.
Isaiah 9:6 and John 14:8-11 explain this very well.

Im not comdeming you but 1 Timothy 3:16 doesn't prove oneness at all, it just means that Jesus, the Father, and the Holy Ghost are all God, trinitarians believe that, we just believe that he is God all 3 in one, existing forever, and I dont believe that oneness pentecostals is a cult or anything b/c u still believe in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, i just think that ur mistaken, but the trinity is a very hard thing to grasp, but we will never be able to fully understand God until Glory
Overall, very good. However, UPC is cultic. When you start adding condition upon condition to one's salvation and through heavy-handed techniques keep the "dumb sheep" in line to follow these teachings of man, then you have a cultic situation. Yes, one should be water baptized and should also seek the baptism in the Holy Spirit, but not doing so doesn't make one condemned and unsaved. There are also other aberrant teachings by UPC. Many Baptist are also heavy-handed and in error.
A cult adheres to false beliefs and follows a MAN'S doctrine. Thus, Oneness is a cult. Read the Bible and drop your tunes; set your priorities right and maybe you'll learn something.

"Gospel of the Kingdom"? Even though the verse teaches the necessity of baptism, I would hardly say that this particular verse summarizes the "gospel of the Kingdom." The Bible does not say such, and it's a stretch to define it thus. In fact, it does not even teach all the prerequisites for being IN the kingdom - no one verse does. And the kingdom was yet future at that point - it was "at hand", "nigh unto you", etc. It only arrived on Pentecost, and the terms of entrance were stated then.
Yes, even though they use different terms, they complement each other - especially if the "remission of sins" in equated with becoming a "citizen of the Kingdom."
Not only "born again", but its equivalent: "obeying the gospel." What is the gospel? That Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and was resurrected from the dead. Now we must obey that, in some way - in some likeness. II Thes 1:8 "...In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ." I would propose that some of these folks tell us exactly what obeying the gospel is, and how they propose to obey it - if they discard baptism.
Paul baptized many people- Read Acts. Read the context of the passage. Paul was disgusted with the fact that the church in Corinth baptized people who did not repent. Paul was sent to preach the Gospel and it was up to the people to respond and be baptized.
Although Paul baptized many people, he was primarily a gospel preacher, and if you begin at verse 10 and follow the thought, Paul was pointing out the divisions at the Corinth church, with each person claiming allegiance to the person who baptized him. Hence, Paul says he was thankful he had personally had baptized so few- lest they use his name in their error. Paul was an inspired preacher - one of few. ANY Christian male could do the baptizing. Paul was sent to preach - other could baptize.

When you can show me, where Moses, the Prophets and the Apostles taught that God was triune, that he was three persons, show it to me, because it isn't there.
Search for yourself! It's recorded in history when this false doctrine came in! Look it up in the Roman Catholic encyclopedia where they brag about hammering it out in I think it was 325, that's the fourth century for crying out loud.
There is a difference between judging their sin and judging them. You people are rude. The UPC guy was trying to be nice. I'll bet you that these rude people have never been filled with the Holy Spirit according to Acts. They are to rude and don't have the spirit of love.
I am neither a both a trinitarian or oneness Pentecostal. I am a Christian. I am apart if a baptist church and i believe Jesus is God as well as the holy spirit. I believe That in heaven only one God reigns. I simply believe in one God and worship him by his incarnation as Jesus. i honestly do not know why these two agrue you both believe there is only one God and that his son Jesus is he!!

It isn't your place to judge. That is God's - in the end at His Throne. Repentance is a working of God's grace, augmented by one's faith in the Good News. Unless you don't believe in Dispensationalism then you can't argue this away. Perhaps that makes you a Preterist since the doctrine of dispensationalism came from the Trinity as well.

Yeshua is Hebrew which in English is Jesus.Yesha is the ONLY word for Salvation in Hebrew which is why there is only ONE name given among men whereby we must be saved. Secondly GOD is a SPIRIT so the Spiritual image would be Spiritual.Thus the SOUL is the spiritual image which is neither male nor female,only our phyisical bodies are flesh.Oneness is correct while SOUL isnt three persons.HM Conclusion thus Trinity isnt correct

The black guy started listening and took the other guys card after he explained the reasons why they were out there and why Jesus is eternal, etc. You have to watch the whole thing and not be emotional about what you see(not seeking to offend by that, but that's emotional the way you responded to that)

Interesting encounter, but it really should have been handled away from the lost. I'm oneness but I also understand that not all of oneness believers understand what the Bible says. Dante clearly didn't understand what the scriptures speak of when it comes to judging. The whole oneness and trinity debate is something I seriously believe that needs to be dropped. We're still brothers and sisters in Christ regardless of who believes God as one or God one in three persons. Be blessed.

If you notice what the bible says in Matthew 28:19-20 make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the "name" not in the names and what is that name? it's Jesus therefore doesn't that make Jesus the father and the Holy Ghost also. Oh yea and didn't the Word become flesh and the Word was God so God became flesh think about it sounds like trinity believers need to take a "selah" if you know what that means. The dictionary and a lot of studying could help you understand.

It messed my mind up before I got the Holy Ghost and I did not even understand the purpose of the cross. I even asked who God's name was because deep down I knew that word "God" couldn't be just it, since he is very Holy. then I got no answer. obviously it's a pretty weak belief system and it's a pure pagan doctrine alright. I am an openair evangelist and a fundamental/Pentacostal. There is no doubt in my mind that the UPC is cultic. They believe that for one to be saved they must be baptized in water and with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. All of this is in addition to repentance and the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. The UPC is extremely heavy-handed with their members and they also teach guidance by feelings apart from the Bible. Feelings guide doctrine - I witnessed this 1st hand.

If you watch the rest of the video you would have seen more on the discussion. The Bible clearly says to judge righteously John 7:24, Proverbs 31:9, 1 Cor 2:15.

Both the Oneness guy and the guy in the yellow shirt have basically no understanding of the Oneness doctrine.
Oneness does not teach that the Father was not in heaven or that Jesus "threw his voice"

Well, things get a lil heated sometimes, so you have to forgive both parties. Not sure why this was posted, maybe angry with Oneness people? It's kewl that these guys stand up for things in public, but I'm not sure about the method.

The young man was not well-established in his own faith. He should have been able to explain that Jesus is the son of God after the flesh (the man who prayed in the garden, the man who was baptized), but that the Spirit of God in him was the Father--who is the one true God.
Isaiah 9:6 and John 14:8-11 explain this very well.
It is almost never a good idea to try to delve into involved Bible doctrines without having the time and place to do justice to the discussion.

Im not comdeming you but 1 Timothy 3:16 doesn't prove oneness at all, it just means that Jesus, the Father, and the Holy Ghost are all God, trinitarians believe that, we just believe that he is God all 3 in one, existing forever, and I dont believe that oneness pentecostals is a cult or anything b/c u still believe in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, i just think that ur mistaken, but the trinity is a very hard thing to grasp, but we will never be able to fully understand God until Glory

Overall, very good. However, UPC is cultic. When you start adding condition upon condition to one's salvation and through heavy-handed techniques keep the "dumb sheep" in line to follow these teachings of man, then you have a cultic situation. Yes, one should be water baptized and should also seek the baptism in the Holy Spirit, but not doing so doesn't make one condemned and unsaved. There are also other aberrant teachings by UPC. Many Baptist are also heavy-handed and in error.

Yes friend, you must be immersed in Water. In Acts they told Paul to arise and wash away his Sins. Jesus said "Marvel not that I say unto you, you must be born again"
He also spake of Water. Can you disagree with that?

well lets look at those scripture you said Acts 22;16 their is three command the fist is to get up, second is to be baptized and the third command is wash away your sins , calling on his name. notice the call on the name of Lord is with wash away your sins and not with being baptize.

"Gospel of the Kingdom"? Even though the verse teaches the necessity of baptism, I would hardly say that this particular verse summarizes the "gospel of the Kingdom." The Bible does not say such, and it's a stretch to define it thus. In fact, it does not even teach all the prerequisites for being IN the kingdom - no one verse does. And the kingdom was yet future at that point - it was "at hand", "nigh unto you", etc. It only arrived on Pentecost, and the terms of entrance were stated then.

A man is justified by faith. Now define Biblical faith. Try and use some examples from Paul's writings and from James' writings.
Every time Paul gave an example of faith, it was accompanied by OBEDIENCE.
James 2:20: Faith without deeds is DEAD.
James 2:19: Thou believe that there is 1 God; thou doest well: the devils also believe...
The devils believe, do they have faith?
I question whether someone who lacks enough resolve to get in the water to obey the Lord Jesus Christ has ANY faith.

Not only "born again", but its equivalent: "obeying the gospel." What is the gospel? That Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and was resurrected from the dead. Now we must obey that, in some way - in some likeness. II Thes 1:8 "...In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ." I would propose that some of these folks tell us exactly what obeying the gospel is, and how they propose to obey it - if they discard baptism.

Paul baptized many people- Read Acts. Read the context of the passage. Paul was disgusted with the fact that the church in Corinth baptized people who did not repent. Paul was sent to preach the Gospel and it was up to the people to respond and be baptized.

Although Paul baptized many people, he was primarily a gospel preacher, and if you begin at verse 10 and follow the thought, Paul was pointing out the divisions at the Corinth church, with each person claiming allegiance to the person who baptized him. Hence, Paul says he was thankful he had personally had baptized so few- lest they use his name in their error. Paul was an inspired preacher - one of few. ANY Christian male could do the baptizing. Paul was sent to preach - other could baptize.

Friend, you need to crawl away from this conversation and study a little more. Do your history study and you'll find that the first church baptized always into the Name of Jesus Christ. With Water. You know the scriptures ACTS 2:38, 8:12,16, ACTS 10:46, ACTS 16:32-33, ACTS 19:5 all there.

In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the Word was God... and the word became flesh glorified in the son. He was his son only in humanity. Just read ACTS 10. they weren't baptized into the Name of Jesus yet, so technically they were still Lost because they had no been buried with him thru baptism as illustrated in Romans 6.

1 cor 12;13 say that God baptizes the believer in the body of Christ so Roman 6 baptized into Christ is to be baptized in body of Christ that's how you get crucified with Christ because one becomes part of the body of Christ and the word baptizes does not only s mean water, like we see in Luke 3; 16

It looks like these UPC guys had an agenda, and it was not to preach the gospel to sinners. It was to shut down the street preachers and tangle them in an endless web of doctrinal debate.
The Day of Pentecost was a day of Holy Spirit fire-filled preaching, not a day when everyone just sat around speaking in tongues.

That is a lie. Read different encyclopedias and do some research. If that were true then why did the church of Acts do it? Why didn't the church of Acts baptize in the titles Father Son and Holy Spirit? Answer the question bible scholar.
The early church baptized in Jesus name only. Also, if the Holy Ghost is a third person, why does Phil, 1 Peter, Romans 8 all say that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Christ? Maybe there is four in the godhead. God is one.

"Come check out our church, Revival Center", that is the message of these people. It's not get right with God for tonight may be your last, or that God has provided His Son to cover your sins, repent of them believe and follow Jesus.
Instead its always come to our church. When did Paul ask people to come to the house he was staying in so that someone can receive a miracle? It is a small Go indeed that can only work in a certain building!!

When you can show me, where Moses, the Prophets and the Apostles taught that God was triune, that he was three persons, show it to me, because it isn't there.
Search for yourself! It's recorded in history when this false doctrine came in! Look it up in the Roman Catholic encyclopedia where they brag about hammering it out in I think it was 325, that's the fourth century for crying out loud.
