Dogs were Wolves before we domesticted them. And still people hear about dog attacks... A little fox like that is nowhere near as dangerous as some dog breeds.

In Russia, they have also managed to domesticate foxes... They're rare now though I think, because the funding almost disappeared after the fall of the USSR.

When I was a vet tech, we had a client with one (she had moved here from another state) and we kinda had to vaccinate it under the radar, and had to take all these ridiculous "precautions" that went way above and beyond what is necessary for an aggressive animal. This one was FAR from aggressive, but was treated as though he was.
