@calaminator - It was a lot of work. I had new ideas almost daily for a few weeks. I wish I could update this video and TSI for Trakor 2 but things are busy at work and have competing hobbies.

@GeOPrElO - You must be on Traktor 1.2.6 or newer. Native Intruments changed the format of TSI files at that version. I am using trackor2 now and this TSI still works.

UPDATE: This month I have been experimenting updating my mapping for Traktor2. (NOT RELEASED YET) So far, I am using the button at the top right to create another layer for Traktor2. Then I use the xfader for the Wet/Dry on the sampler and the Effects knobs/buttons for the Sample Deck (on Deck D). I don't want to use a second controller or replace the BCD3000 but Traktor2 is going to be a challenge since it offers so much more than the BCD3000 has space for.

@BlakeMitchell1 - Yes. I use the Controller Change Messages set to Output to make the LEDs function. If you stop the video at 1:58 you will see the CC numbers listed in Red for all the LEDs. Whoever made that graphic saved me a bunch of time! The corresponding numbers appear in my Excel file wherever I planned to activate an LED.

@BlakeMitchell1 - Do your BCD3000 LED work when using the default mapping (when you select BCD3000 in the Traktor program)? What version of Traktor are you running? My TSI should work on any version of Traktor Pro over 1.2.6

hi mike ! first of all thank for your work, it look awesome but i'm having some trouble to import it in traktor, i have the 1.2.6 crack version running on a macbook but when i click on import,your mapping that i download stay in blank and i can't click on it. when i dowload it came as a word format, not a exec. any idea ?

@graffking94 - Seems like you mac just took a best guess at the file extension and picked Logic. Just save the file and import it from within Traktor. Should work fine that way.

@stefpereira100 - are you using Traktor 1.2.6? Other people have loaded this file without issue. Just to be sure I downloaded the file and installed it myself. There were two check boxes on for Controller and one for Effects.

@tallkev1 - not that I am aware of. I had a huge problem with earlier versions. Seems to be a change that Native Instruments made (not backwards compatible). You can usually update to the current version for free if you are registered user.

In Traktor FXs are prefade and asigned per deck(s). Which is stupid for effects like reverb (which I'd prefer on the output). I mapped the FX section for four Advanced FX (not chained). The 1/2/3/4 buttons are on/off and the knob controls the corresponding level or effect. Since FX are very personal I suggest mapping your own preferences (mapping is fun and addictive).

@JLBeastful - sorry, just found out that we must be on the same version to make the TSI Import into Traktor. I have updated to traktor 1.2.6 and reuploaded my TSI today for the current version.

7-20-10 Updated the TSI file again today! ***MAKE SURE TRAKTOR PRO IS ON VERSION 1.2.6*** Go to the NI website to update Traktor or the TSI will import blank.

Updated TSI changes since this video was made: (1) press cue on any deck to load to that deck in browser mode (2) EXT in B unloads stopped deck or preview in browser mode (3) The FX control LED 1/2/3/4 show track end warning A/B/C/D when in browser mode (4) Phones Mix automatically changes to CUE only when previewing in browser mode (5) the PLAY button of deck B is what loads the preview in browser mode (6) the left jog wheel searches the preview when in browser mode (7) GAIN knobs are now PANs

@01glitch - 1. i have been looking FOREVER for a decent mapping for the bcd3000...yours is by far one of the simplest, and best. however, i am trying to figure out how to change the mapping so that the GAIN knobs go back to being GAIN knobs and not pan...any chance you can shoot me an email and let me know how to do it? or which thing i would change in the mapping? i'm trying to figure it out, and am having a rough time. thanks - DeeJayDennis@Gmail.com

@SelektaDj - Glad you figured it out! If anyone else wants the standard gain knobs pause the video at 2:13 (make those settings for gain and save the TSI file). I personally found that I never use the gain knobs since Traktor has a setting for Auto-Gain.
