kevin has insanely amazing vocal skill, but without the backup he got from the members of evans blue, i feel like the music lacks something. it just isn't as tough or badass... i think evans blue was better when they had him, but this band he's in now, parabelle, it's not as in-your-face. and it's a little boring. not saying i don't like it, i just want them to step it up. with kevin, it's possible :)

Parabelle honestly does have the musicianship you'd know if you'd see them play, but more of what the albums before resembling the icons were trying to do was find the style of music. keep in mind that the members changed up a little bit. In all honesty though EB is great, Dans a great vocalist, I much prefer Kevin's vocals and Parabelle is honestly amazing, not only as musicians but as people too they are nice :)

Kevin's voice is amazing without a doubt, but to say that Evans Blue sucks now is far from true IMHO. Though this is a nice song, I'd take ANY track off their latest album (with new singer) over this one.

I was listening to Evans Blue back in about 2007, so I didn't really get much time to adjust to Kevin in the band and whatnot, but I definitely miss him.

I'll admit, "Erase My Scars" is cool to me, but then I hear Kevin's voice and the original songs, and I'm just like "Why the hell would this amazingness be taken away!?"

Kevin is back. Great song and old Evans Blue is back. He was better with Evans Blue as they were better with him as well, but don't hate on Chandler. Erase My Scars separated himself from old Evans Blue and it was perfection.

i love kevins voice too, but to say eb sucks?their touring and making money,which every band wants to do right? i didnt notice if parabelle was touring. plus last year evans blue came to our town with pop evil to do a fund raiser for two local high school girls who died in an accident. we were willing to pay full price to have them play,they offered to play for $500 plus motel rooms, we were able to raise over $20,000 for the girls. so my hats of to them.

Thank you for acknowledging the fact that Parabelle's instrumentation is nothing compared to Evans Blue's (as a complete band). I am very pleased with this song, however, because it shows they're starting to play well together. Their double-album was a major disappointment. The guitar riffs were often out of key with Kevin's voice and the drummer's style seemed out of place (although he is very talented). Basically, they were not playing as a band, but rather as individuals.

I think they did a damn fine job myself. Sounds like a cross of old EB and Parabelle. Sort of a perfect happy medium for me. Radio friendly yes, but radio original? I'd say yes to that too. I think the band will go far if songs like Lifted and More keep in the pipeline.

I think it's a very solid effort. Very radio friendly and then some. I'm sure there will be songs with a little more texture on the album for those who don't like the single. Singles these days are almost built just for that from the get-go. They tend to have less texture and more balance. I think I like it somewhere in the middle. Anyways, great song, great effort. Kicks the shiz out of the other stuff they released.
