As someone who works with gas turbine compressor (and turbine) blades all day I can say your blade profiles need a bit of work! They are far too thick for starters! But well done on the modeling, looks like it took a long time!
Just make sure that if you do obtain SolidWorks (real or hacked versions) that you have a computer powerful enough to use the software. It's very processor intensive, especially on the big multipiece work. Great prog though and has done us a world of good. We use it to design helicopter camera systems for our motion picture work (our profession).
rudyyoungblood2223: Whatever we need to help us with motion picture filming, we just buy. It doesn't matter about the cost. Unfortunately that doesn't apply to my salary though! We run ours on a HD Edit suite system that comprises of a huge rack packed with HDD's and 32GB of RAM. I know the cost of it was the same as a house.
BUT, if you go onto SolidWorks website, it will tell you what to use, the minimum and the preferred system. For HUGE anims, we save to HDCAM tape as It EATS RAID.
@rudyyoungblood2223 i bought mine (in Australia) for 135AU$... its a Student edition by the way... but very nice. Just started to build models for blender and make an 3d walkthrough for my school. Gives me good grades^^
i'm using SW since 2003-2004 and redered animations ARE NOT so tough or time-consumable !
probably u're using some kind of a mall-box not a standard computer. there are requirements which need to be followed for the CPU in order to have a nice running SW. just read the book again... and buy a normal comp... pls man xD
Yeah man, i have been using SW for the same amount of time but when i did this project it was at an institution and they had really old computers on which they already had a bunch of other softwares installed which made the program crash often, true story.

so you used Solid for this I'm guessing since your other videos say that .

@mycatwilatackyou yeah, solidworks, but it takes a very long time to render which is why the animation is so short.
