  • And yet one looks way better...

  • The song is not japanese enough.

  • Whoa whoa whoa whoa WHOA!!! Where did THAT come from. I don't remember any of those scenes. Kimba's father died when he was a kit, he never got to see him grow up. AND Kimba does NOT have a sister!

  • @ShinyUmbreon13 ... the adult lion is Kimba, the cubs are Rune and Rukkio.

  • @Laia92 Ohhh.....

  • The difference? The Disney version has lions, because I don't know what those others are...

  • 1:23 DOUUUUUUUUUUUBLE RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAINBOWWWWWWWWWW

  • @JesusIsTheSavior7777 WHAT DOES IT MEAN!?!?

  • Actually... I probably said this before, but the original Kimba animated series came out in 1965. Not 1997...

  • ... Or it could be the fact that Simba means lion in Swahili.

  • if it was the real lion king you wouldnt use anything from disney's lion king just saying

  • Kimba was original. And realistic. In the Lion King,It's all happy fuzzy nobody dies blah.Yeah.In this, people die.Not saying Lion King is bad.

This movie and all Kimba ones,(excluding 1989 show)were awesome!

  • @Mousepelt23 Wait. Wait. What? In the Lion King, nobody dies? Um, Mufasa dies brutally by being crushed by a whole herd of wildebeests and Scar gets eaten alive by a pack of hyenas. I have no problem when people say things about Disney, cause the stuff said is true, but I hate when they say that no one dies in them. That's completely untrue. I've never seen a Disney movie where no one dies; good guy or bad guy(okay, maybe Aladdin, but Jafar does die in the horrible straight to video sequel)

  • @LunarEclipse360

But I mean,it didn't really make you feel sad!I cried in this movie, but not in the lion king.Lion King wasn't sad at all.

  • @Mousepelt23 Tell that to all of the people who did cry when Mufasa died and still do cry when they watch that scene.

  • @Mousepelt23 Kimba wasn't that original. It began with Bambi

  • @Mousepelt23 Have you've seen the lion king? The entire plot revolved around Scar blaming the lion cub Simba for his father's murder, then he grows up with false guilt. What were u watchin?

  • Much better. Simba got nothing on the White Lion Kimba. Disney is known to steal ideas from other countries and remake them for what they call kid friendly where there is always a sequel and everyone lives happy go lucky lives and everyone lives happily ever after. Honestly. I think the original stories are better. The little mermaid: Her name is Marina, and the main character. She dies at the end. That is how it was written. Why can't it stay that way?

  • @SevernIth Actually, The Little Mermaid, in the original fairytale, doesn't have a name. The creators of the Japanese version gave her name cause, like Disney, they didn't want to call her 'The Little Mermaid' thoughout the whole thing.

  • @SevernIth Because then it would not be cool.

  • @Oasisx99 Ya I guess you are right.

  • Kimba, the white lion its 10 times more famous in the japan and asians countries was Lion King, we just know more Lion king because the influence united states, but Kimba aka Leo come first and the people who say, japan copies LK they are wrong.but both LK and KWL are beatifull. :3

  • @HetaOnNow Regardless, The lion king mad more money than any other animated movie in the entire world besides toy story.

  • after seeing this video, it's obvious the lion king copied kimba, but The Lion King is MORE famous & more known than kimba the white lion, so it doesn't matter. The Lion King is a beautiful movie. The creators should've done something mainstream w/ this before lion king came out, but that's not the case now !

  • I've never liked Lion King, so I'm not surprised at all by this. It took so much from bambi, that you know..who knows if they didn't get things on this one as well? But you have to admit that The Lion King has a much better animation, score, songs, script than this one

  • Simba's yellow, Kimba's white! You can't explain that!

  • Lion King is better, can't compare it with Kimba.

  • I'm only marginally ticked at Disney ripping off Kimba, and I don't have an interest in seeing the "Real" Lion King. But I definitely got chills from 3:50 to the end.

  • anime lion king... pretty much sums up japan

  • wtf japan version of lion king?

  • Kimba's original name in Japan before it got aired in north America is Leo. That's what i know, based on my research on some sites. :/

  • Osamu Tezuka copied Disney FIRST. 1. Kimba=Bambi. 2. Look and Princess Knight n TELL ME she doesnt look like Snow White.

  • I just found this out, never knew about it! Shame on Disney...

  • @audrinaINchains But Kimba's author was really proud that Disney based TLK on Kimba, true story. Anyway, they are both great

  • @KinngLion Osamu Tezuka was DEAD in1989. TLK wasnt released until 1994... idk where u got that frm. but it is true that Osamu and Disney were friends bcuz back in the day, they were compared so much

  • I LOVE THE LION KING, SIMBA!, sorry but kimba it's a big shit....

  • @OfficialVideosAbril you say it's a big shit because of the animation quality?

  • i saw kimba and the lion king but kimba wad published before the lion king so baseickly the lion king is copying kimba so now i really really hate the lion king now i love kimba

  • @angie10532634 There wouldn't even have been Kimba without Disney. The Lion King is better anyway.

  • @Fullmetalx51 Actually I think you'll find it has more to do with creator Osamu Tezuka who penned the original strip in 1950. Last time I checked he didn't work for Disney.

  • @FionnMarr So, Tezuka loved Disney's movie Bambi. Bambi came out in 1942. Bambi which plot deice is similar to Kimba. Bambi started the circle of life fundamental and his mom and dad died, and he became the king of the forest. Tezuka had to get license from Disney to adapt Bambi for the Japanese audience. Not only that but Kimba was the first color anime. It was Disney who taught Tezuka how to make color animation.

  • @Fullmetalx51 Bambis dad never died. he stands next 2 him at the end of the film n helps him through the fire. watch the movie

  • @lunaneko14 Oh ok

  • love both Lion King and Kimba <3

  • @Sanimangas Look, I learned a great lesson from TLK, i can relate to it. I also understand the circle of life. I don't need to watch an old anime show about a white lion cub running around saving his jungle friends, to learn about nature, or the human and animal relationship. I can already see it. Besides, it's not like Kimba is the only show that features a crisis in the connection between humans and animals, geez. You say i'm biased, well I wouldn't watch Kimba with or without the TLK anyway.

  • @Sanimangas And what goes beyond being biased, is comparing the two morals. I said it in my own opinion. I could relate to TLK's message more than Kimba's. TLK's message where it teaches us to not run away from our past and problems, but learn from them, come to terms, and move on to take your place in life along with your responsibilities. Alot of people have had something traumatizing, grief, an accident,or a series of bad memories. TLK can inspire most of us move on. It's a universal theme.

  • @Sanimangas I'm always going to love meat. What that has to do with extinction? Now I do love animals and care about nature, but I couldn't be a vegetarian. As I said, there should be a balance in the animals people kill. There are certain animals that shouldn't be eaten, that includes all predatory animals. An animal should never be killed for no reason, and endangered animals should never be killed at all. I don't know what hell are you talking about A misinterpretation perhaps?

  • @Dattebayo04

WTF? you don't understand the connection between humans and the decline of animals? ARE YOU EVEN THINKING RIGHT NOW?

WTF HOW CAN YOU COMPARE KIMBA WHEN YOU HAVE NEVER EVEN FUCKING WATCHED IT YET

YOU ARE TOO BIASED TO WATCH IT

Obviously you learned no morals at all from tlk if your intelligence is corrupted by your emotions.

  • @Sanimangas One more thing. With all that I laid out, I would say that the Lion king actually has a better life lesson, and moral than the one presented in Kimba, opinion wise. Like the concept of the circle of life is more realistic than what Kimba tried to do. But I couldn't live being a vegetarian. I LOVE meat. But I do believe that animals should never be killed without a reason. There's nothing wrong with eating animals, but there should be limits. Such as eating only prey, not predators.

  • @Dattebayo04

Wtf that is so generic and biased. You are just trying to prove that tlk has better morals and not just an emotional movie even though you've never seen Kimba. Do you understand how biased you are? You don't care to even see both sides because one side has fully integrated to your mind.

Kimba went against his own nature and ate grass and insects(sound familiar to you?), so he doesn't have to eat anyone, he doesn't want anyone to suffer, so in turn he suffered himself.

  • @Sanimangas Didn't I just gave the reason or reasons why I loved TLK. It's not just because it is apart of my childhood. That's stupid. I rewatched TLK and found a deeper meaning than I ever could in my childhood. No, i'm not watching Kimba, though it's adorable that he sacrificed himself for herbivores, but in reality, there has to be predators to control the prey population or else everyone overpopulates and eat all the food to the point where everyone starves.

  • @Sanimangas Now speaking of Kimba's moral. I can agree about the importance of the relationship between humans and animals, but to become a vegetarian? That's horribly wrong! If carnivores became vegetarians, then there would no predators to eat the herbivores. Thus the herbivores will continue to overpopulate and eat everything. So all life will starve.Nature has a balance. There has to be predators to eat the prey or it'll be bad. Kimba making carnivores into herbivores was deadly wrong.

  • @Dattebayo04

Wtf are you serious? You want humans to evolve into even more carnivorous consumers than now? We are already killing off animals in an astonishing rate. Every day 16 organisms go extinct, Every year 21,894 species go extinct. You sounded intelligent a while ago but now you sound like your fucking five. You are just controlled by your fucking love for the fucking lion king from your fucking childhood.

  • If Walt was still living he would have never let Disney get away with taking someone else's creation and claiming it.

  • Idc if Disney's version was better.Ripping off another artist's work by changing a few things then claim it's an original is just wrong.I use to be a fan of Disney but after I found out not only did they rip off the idea but actually came up with lamest excuse as to why both are so similar.I mean seriously "it's just coincidence" that's just pathetic.I would have more respect for Disney if they admitted that Lion King was inspired by Kimba.

  • I lost respect for Disney after they ripped off Kimba. Its obvious Disney couldn't compete Anime art, that's why they went CGI.

  • @1813737 Disney was the one that taught the guy how to do Kimba's art. On top of that, they only ripped it off because they already started a Kimba remake in production, but then lost the rights to complete, so they just finished it anyway and made TLK, It's not like anime always has the best of animation. Disney was the top animation district before the CGI era.

  • @sanimangas One more thing! Yeah,I am a christian, so what now? You want to debate about that too, because i'm loaded!

  • @Dattebayo04

I don't really want to go into a christian debate cause it's not your fault you're christian, it's your parents/ancestors. And this is not the place, but if we do, don't quote the bible, that's just not thinking.

  • @sanimangas I not even worried about Disney. I'm not obsessed. I was defending The Lion King, which is my most cherished early childhood movie. Disney isn't even what it used to be. It's not as good as it was in the 90's,in which that decade put Disney over the highest peak in the animation business. The decade is called the Renaissance Disney Era. Where Dinsey was on top pf it's game, with movies like TLK,and Toy Story, which are now the top 2 most successful animated films in mankind literally

  • @Dattebayo04

How do you know Sek worked so hard? If they did work so hard, they should recieve the most credit! This is the same thing happening to Studio Ghibli, disney just put's it's name on it and makes money.

Why does disney put submessages in?

If it's so successful then why are you defending it from just one guy? Do you feel that the truth shouldn't be expressed? Do you feel that I will disrupt the reputation of tlk?

  • @Sanimangas No, but no cares that much. I mean those theories like sfx and sek are better than the sex theory. Disney wouldn't have been stupid like that. TLK is still successful. Why don't you try arguing at a TLK video where 100's of people comment, saying it's the greatest movie ever.

  • @Dattebayo04

Oh thank you that's a good idea. You do support my cause even if you didn't answer all of my questions. But if no one cares, why do you care? Why do those disneytards lock up tlk's wiki?

But those theories are real. Go look through disney's subliminal messages. The sexual ones are real.

  • @Sanimangas I personally looked up TLK on wiki for no reason. Just because it was wiki, Now I don't care. It's not like Kimba would have been famous today anyone. No one knows who he is. And for the last times those sexual messages are bull crap. For one, how would someone be able to catch the word sense the scene moved so fast, let alone a child. I sure didn't. It's all bull crap. I'm not even obsessed with Disney. It's just that it has some of my fave childhood movies.

  • @Dattebayo04

So that's the only reason you are defending disney?

  • @Sanimangas I wasn't defending disney. Just TLK. I don't care that much for the company. I just like the 90's disney movies. They were the best.

  • @Dattebayo04

So you agree that tlk stole from Kimba?

  • @Sanimangas I know they stole TLK from Kimba. But don't care non the less that Disney did, because I think it's one of the greatest movies ever made. Besides Disney made Bambi which lead to Kimba, and it's not like Kimba would still be popular today; so it's all good.

  • @Dattebayo04

I hope you also learned that morals are more important than childhood memories.

Cause that's what I learned from watching Kimba.

    And became veggetarian from Kimba.

  • @Sanimanga Speaking of morals, it's ironic that I learned more about morals and life lessons from TLK. For example, instead of running away from your problems and past, you come to terms with it, and step up to your place in life along with your responsibilities. That's what TLK teaches, and many people are inspired by that.Thats another reason why TLK is so popular. People can relate to Simba. It's a universal theme. I rewatched TLK,and learned more from what I did in my childhood

  • @Sanimangas By the way,the word sex could even be in it by accident sense it says SEK. A North Korean Studio that helped produced the movie, and there are still special effects so that clears up everything.Like i'm going to believe they just put the hidden word sex,and for what reason? You can't believe everything you are told or rumors. It doesn't make sense Before you believed that from TLK,ask why the hell would Disney do that? What would they have gain by hiding the word sex. That's just silly

  • @Dattebayo04

SEK SEK SEK what would they gain from putting that in?

Where's the sfx? In the animation? The box cover?

    So you're christian perhaps?

Isn't it evident disney put sublimessages into almost everymovie? Why would they do that? To kids?

Why do you support it so much? Are you in love with it? You can't live another moment without it? You actually want more people to watch it? You want people to believe everything in the world is ok and we should just hide in movies?

  • @Sanimangas Ok you over exaggerator. Why would the company SEK not put their name in the movie where they worked so hard to help create.I mean if I was making a piece of art, i'd probably hide my name in abbreviation too.Pixar Disney has hidden cameos and Easter eggs. It's not like there is a gain in putting Sex in movie, and not only that but it's not like you can catch the word. You have to pause the movie at the right moment just to see the freaking word, which says SEK or SFX.

  • @Sanimangas Well TLK is still known to be one of the greatest Disney films of all, so it isn't getting any less popular. No one in my generation even know who the heck Kimba is anyway. But I can't believe you went so low to pull that card. Black Hyenas though? Mufasa's a black lion then, and Rafiki has an African voice? Is that wrong too? You act like ppl are just going to stop watching the TLK over some bullcrap controversies. "Brainwashed christians", you don't know what you're talking about.

  • @Sannimangas I don't care what kind of dirt Disney did to make TLK. It's in the past. Besides it's Disney's fault, not TLK's. I'm just glad it the movie was made. The Lion King makes more of an emotional/inspirational impact than Kimba anyway. Like for people who lost love ones and have to move on. I know because I read comments where people change their outlook on life because of the TLK. PPL say that if Disney made a straight Kimba film, it would have been pure mediocre and easily forgotten.

  • @Dattebayo04

Well if yo u did go through tlk wiki or just look at the movie, you would see that, all of the heyena's are black or Swahili actors and look like black people. All the lions are white whith Am or Brit actors. And the dipiction of heyenas like nazis and Africans are horrible portrayals of heyenas.

  • @Sanimangas Oh, really though? Black hyenas though? One has the voice of Whoopi Goldberg and the other one has a Brazilian accent. All the lions are not white. Mufasa is voiced by the black guy that did the Darth Vadar voice. Like someone will believe that Disney just put the word sex in the movie for no reason. Big bad disney right? 400 ppl worked on the animation and they all just put in the movie just because. "black hyenas", yeah right, like someone is offended. bullcrap

  • @Sanimangas But ok, maybe it is a world crisis that America is in so much debt. I agree, but the heck does that have to do with TLK? I don't need to buy the TLK blue ray. I can watch it on the internet for free, besides I seen that movie like 5,000 times. It's literally my most watch movie.

  • Comment removed

  • One more thing @sanimangas, you seem to be quite the paranoid guy.

  • @Dattebayo04

Yes I've always had my doubts. Can you send me the link to confirm your fact?

But duuude the world is in a fucking crisis right now because of all those things I told you about, I think you skipped the comment about how much the ceo's make. I wanna go out on the streets and occupy shit. I went to walmart a few days ago to steal(only from big stores) and one of the employees told me to steal stuff, cause he is a part of anonymous, and I laughed.

  • @Sanimangas Quick fact. If you flip Bambi, it can be Bimba, and you can then replace it with a k. Now I sent you some links. One more thing. You say it's a crisis that CEOs are making sooo much money? Well it's AMERICA dude! That's how it's suppose to be. One provides what everyone wants and then that one gets to blow his nose and wipe with 1,000 dollar bills, better yet with million dollar checks. What, you want to live in a communist country, or perhaps a Socialist like Canada?

  • Wow dude you serious? It doesn't matter what kind of polecon-structure a gov has as long as it works. Canada is a great place to move to right now.

You sound like one of the reasons the world is corrupted right now You sound like disney.

Quick fact: At least Tezuka gave props for disney and did everything legally and honorably. He didn't care for money, he cared for making something morally right for the world to teach to kids, not put subliminal messages like black hyenas and sex.

  • @Sanimangas First of all there are no subliminal sex messages in The Lion Kin!.Are you trying to say the word in the dust was sex? Well it wasn't! It was SFX, it means special effects. Another key is SEK which was a North Korean studio that helped with the animation. 400 ppl worked on TLK,and you think they all got together and put in the word sex in for no reason? That's stupid! What's wrong with the color of hyenas? The hyenas in the movie are the same color as hyenas in reality.

  • @Dattebayo04

WHY DOES TLK HAVE SFX TEAM WHEN IT'S A FULLY HAND DRAWN FILM!? If you look at tlk's wiki you would see nothing at all about Kimba as disneytards would have it semi-protected so the truth will never be. If you look at the discussions you can clearly see that manythings are very very wrong. It disturbs me that people support disney since it's implemented in their minds.

So many disneytards are totally brainwashed like christians.

  • @Dattebayo04

And another thing. You say the world is not in crisis? US is SIXTEEN TRILLION DOLLARS IN DEBT and increasing by 50 million everyday. EU banks have shut down. Our gov was about to shut down a few days ago but have been able to prolong that by borrowing even more debt. US downgraded it's credit rating for the first time since the constitution was written.

No. No crisis at all as you can see. Gonna go buy some tlk blue rays you know, helping to support disney.

  • Is This Some Type Of Anime? o_o

  • @happycrush159 Yes, it's a remake of the 1960's series, Kimba the White Lion (Jungle Emperor).

  • @QueenCrocuta Cool

  • The animation is better in the Lion King and the story is somewhat better (though it's very similar). But Mufasa's death is way more tragic and the movie is breathtaking.

& don't call me a retart for saying my opinion.

  • In my opinion, even if Lion King is a copy of Kimba, its so much better.Lion King is epic, beautifull movie with such a beautifull and epic songs.I didn´t know about Kimba until i watched this video.

  • Firstly, LOL.

Secondly, I think it's good hearted homage....if anything, The Lion King was a big part of my childhood

  • I did some reading on the making on the Lion King and according to what I read they travel to a national park in Kenya. I knew they got the name Simba which mean Lion in Swaihi

  • disney...in your face...

  • lion king is way better

    Kimba they look like rats

  • @huskyfan96 way better because...

  • noit! i just watched the movie and is that leo's dad? or leo?

  • I saw the other version of the Lion king. Witch is the real one? This or the other one?

  • Epic hilarious.

"I tell ya pumba, this stinks" "Oh sorry" "No not you! THEM!" HA!

  • oh..my...gosh!!! this is amazing!!!! :D <3,is it Japanese by any chance?

  • @Savy1098 Yeah it is.

  • dislikers can go cry to ther mom

  • i still like Disney's Lion King more :)

  • @kozabbe

FUCKING KID GROW UP AND WATCH IT BEFORE COMPARING THE TWO

  • @Sanimangas I understand the decline of animals. And I understand the connection between humans and animals. That has nothing to do with Kimba. There's nothing Kimba could teach than what I already know, or can obviously see. I don't want to watch Kimba because I don't see the point in doing so. I was watching it a little bit, but couldn't see the big deal of it. Though I did see the cub amazingly take on a huge rhino. (continued)

  • @Sanimangas That was my opinion, you have yours, and look in the mirror before you tell others to grow up.

  • i loled so hard at 2:52 ahaha kimba's blood would be splattered all over that rock

  • i like kimba and simba the same! :)

  • This song is too powerful for Kimba. The show was cute but it's no Lion King.

  • They both have uncles with a scar that takes over the pride after the fathers death. Scar and Claw. Same coloring too. But the bid difference is, Disney did it soooo much better.

  • @trishafungirl12 Yeah, nice try, the stories are hardly anything alike. Just character similarities, and that's it.

  • Kimba the White Lion was my 1st love as a kid. I see this is a newer version. I watched it in the early 70's.

  • You realize "Simba" means lion in Swahili (just like Sarabi means Mirage, Nala means Gift, Mufasa means King, etc)?

Also, TLK is literally Hamlet for Kids. :T

  • Maybe Kimba is Simba's long lost great great grandfather

  • @trishafungirl12 They didn't rip it off. I watched most of the Kimba series (the original one) and when I thought back to TLK.. they had absoloutely nothing in common except a few character traits, and that's it. The plotline was based more off of Hamlet than Kimba.

Not to mention, Simba means lion in Swahili. Kimba is a random name.

  • @MikeMsDaughter11 his original name in Japanese was Leo which means lion in Latin :P the Kimba name is just an English translation

  • @theoinkmaster1 Thanks for that info then.

I would suppose that Simba and Kimba as names were just coincidences for multiple reasons. Im just too lazy to explain them right now lol

  • I'm surprised Disney didn't take Astro Boy too...

  • No, Leo was NOT 1997. You're thinking of one of the re-dubs of it. It ORIGINALLY came out in the later 60's as the first ever color anime series. Just correcting what you said in your video summary. I've got a book that is all about Tezuka and his works.

  • @CosplayCore

By the way, this video looks great. xD

  • @CosplayCore

DUDE, I THINK I JUST FOUND LOVE. <3 There were some parts that could have fit a little better, but overall, I LOVED it!!! XD +favs!

  • @CosplayCore

Yes this Leo is 1997; I bought the laserdisc of "Jungle Emperor Leo" in 1997 which was a re-make of the Leo series. My summary also mentions Kimba dating back to the 1950s. Sorry to have to correct you on this, but I did edit this music video so I have a pretty decent idea where I received my source material from.

  • @CosplayCore Don't forget. Disney taught Tezuka how to make color animation, and that Kimba is an adaption of Bambi.

  • wonderful! I had chills the whole time!

  • @Sanimangas This makes me like TLK even more! Who needs blacks? Not me!

  • @Adminvalid you and Disney must have a lot things in common

  • w.t.f is this?

  • kimba good show. all i saw was reruns though haha

  • @sanimangas google it, and read the shite, you'll learn things.

  • @xxSarahGardinerxx

And if you google tlk then you'd know how much racial subliminal messages tlk has Racist against blacks and Swahilis . You'll know that tezuka trained disney's animators and then after he died they made tlk. And they pleaded TezukaCo saying they had no lawyers(BIGGEST FUCKING LIE EVER) not to sue and they didn't cause Tezuka loved disney. Then they got their multimillion lawyers to put up a lawsuit to not get sued and it's still up today.

  • @Sanimangas Actually it was Disney's animators who trained Tezuka's people on the use of colour for production of Kimba... but yes, this does prove that the Disney company had to be aware of Kimba. Walt Disney was such an honourable man, he must be turning over and vomiting in his grave.

  • I grew up with the Lion King adn I lvoe both movies, but I like Kimba/Leo better o3o I think the animation and artwork are amazing. :3

  • I think actually that this video shows how much inspiration the Japanese artists doing the new version of Kimba took from the cinematography and color use of Disney's artists. Of course I could be wrong. I don't know Tezuka's work on Kimba or the differences between the various retellings--comic to TV animation to film animation. However, I--speaking in ignorance--don't know that it was ever "shot" this way before the Lion King.

  • kimba sold their storyline to the lion king.

  • @xxSarahGardinerxx

Orly? Where's your proof? STUPID KIDS SHOULD SHUT UP

  • Personally i think lion king is a "copy " after reading some comperasion background information. But its absolutely not worse. Still lion king is a great "remake" of kimba. People say: without kimba simba wouldnt exit but without simba noone would know about kimba.

  • @xskyxheavenx1

Actually people wouldn't have the fucking lion king without Kimba.

  • @Sanimangas So, there wouldn't have been Kimba without Bambi. Kimba is based off of Bambi. In which Disney was the one who taught the creator of Kimba how to make color animation. It's like a cycle. Without Disney, there wouldn't be Bambi, without Bambi there wouldn't be Kimba, Without Kimba, than there is no The Lion King.

  • @Dattebayo04

Dude, come back when you understand.

  • @San I do understand perfectly. I understand Kimba fans like the guy who made this video are mad because TLK ripped off Kimba, and TLK went on became the most successful animated movie, but Kimba isn't so popular these days. But it's like a recycle. The maker of Kimba had to get license from Disney to even make the Kimba series. Kimba is an adaption of Bambi for the Japanese audience. The circle of life is from bambi, not kimba or TLK.So disney merely brought back their idea, not steal

KIMBA HAD TO GET A LICENCE FROM DISNEY!?? ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS??? HOW OLD ARE YOU 10!?

  • @Sanimangas Why don't you go and research it. Kimba is an adaption of Bambi, Bambi's mom and dad dies, he becomes king of the forest.Tezuka couldn't have made Kimba without disney. Look it up either The Lion King or Kimba the white lion on wikipedia. Scroll down to the segment where it talks about the TLK and the Kimba controversy

  • @Dattebayo04

Umm I don't think you notice but the whole world is in crisis right now and you're here saying disney is the fucking solution to the worlds problems.

  • @Sanimangas world crisis, Disney saving the world? WTF? what are you talking about? I was talking about the lion king and Kimba.

  • @Dattebayo04

Why do you support disney so much? Has it brainwashed your childhood so much? I know it brainwashed my childhood, but I'm not stupid. It's the ultimate dunghouse of capitalism and you will see it everywhere even in your house. The CEO makes $50,000+/hr, which is more than how much 76% of the world's population makes in a year.

  • @Dattebayo04

If disney is so innocent(as it's reputation states) why did they bribe Tezuka Co to not sue? The negotiator said "We don't have lawyers"(BIGGEST FUCKING LIE BEFORE BUSH CAME). Even if TCo wanted to sue, disney put up a lawsuit right after that, stating they can't be sued for 21 years.

Why did disney shut down a Toronto Film Festival to stop the airing of Kimba?

Why does disney still deny it saying they copied it from Hamlet?

Why does disney fuck up teenagers with disney channel?

  • @Sanimangas Before I even reply, the "Disney Chanel" has nothing to with this. #1, I never said Disney was innocent, I was just explaining some history. Everything i've said was fact. I not defending Disney per say, but I'm defending TLK. Still think it's the best movie, but you can't deny that it stole Kimba. TLK's story is Hamlet, but it has Kimba's fundamentals.I just look at the brighter side. Disney is the one that started both of the series' existence. It began with Bambi.

  • @Dattebayo04

I think you read my statement wrong seeing as I did not put any punctuation to clarify so that was my fault.

Why does disney deny stealing? Saying that they used context from Hamlet?

I am very sure he would have created Kimba even if Bambi was never created. All of Tezuka's main characters had some form of handicap.

You defend tlk cause it's your childhood? It was my childhood too, and so was mcdonalds, walmart, but I learned those were destroying us and the world.

  • @Sanimangas Lol, The Lion King is still better than a lot of the movies today. I still think it's one of the greatest, regardless of it being my childhood film. Now Kimba wouldn't have been made without Disney. Like I said, Tezuka had gotten license to adapt Bambi into Kimba, and Kimba, I suppose, is the first color anime. Well, it was Disney who taught Tezuka and his crew how to even make such animation. Now when I say Disney, I mean the actual man. They met at the 1964 world fair.

  • @xskyxheavenx1 for some people maybe but hey when i was kid they show this every weekday morings so i was able to watch this before lion king and there some tv stations that still show kimba today !!

  • @xskyxheavenx1 "without simba noone would know about kimba"? Osamu Tezuka and his works are of major importance in the field of animation, and i'll assume your phrasing --"no one"-- is intended to be an exaggeration? Because surely you cannot believe this literally. Millions were aware of Kimba before the Lion King was made. Some (like myself) grew up with him and others (like my daughter) were introduced to him later and love him as much as their parents did. Give credit where it is due.

  • the big lion is cute when he hopes around ^-^

  • this is cool never seen it thow but im more of a lion king preson o.O this awesome thow lions so awesome

  • the person who said this cant say that he is a real lion fan or that he loves lions sorry but thats my opinion

  • i dont compare them leo and simba both really great movies but leo has not a happy ending like in lion king watch the movie jungle emeror leo the movie is great this who hate leo are just stupid i love both because lions are cool doesnt matter who was first people and whos better im happy that the people in the past made such great movies because now well only shit on tv -_- you know what i mean right dont judge to soon with leo because i saw a brain dead comment like kill leo that was mean

  • @falschblut1345 what is the ending of leo? :P

  • @vidsforu22 i send to you a email and explained it

  • The person who did this need a life

  • I see it more as..

The lion king is an american movie and The Jungle Emperor is a japenese movie. They have different sides. Sure maybe a little similar. But no reason to compare two good sceneings...

  • so the lion king is like a newer version of kimba the white lion? O.O

  • @xkilljoykittenx ahmm yes you can say that so ha ha
