@marianrozmangreen Thanks a lot, though i agree with that comment on music :D there are lots of more fitting tracks but i guess that was what i listened back then :D
On the other it is also possible that all the wiring and rubbers need to be changed; if that is necessairy you' d better replace the old 6V contact points-ignition for a modern 12V transistor one. If not, park her on top of a slope, otherwise you will have to do a lot of pushing if you cannot handle a handchoke on a cold and damp Scandinavian morning. ^__^
Notice; THE DIFFERENTIAL AT THE REAR AXLE HAS BRONZE COGWHEELS AND NEEDS A SPECIAL LUBRICATION !!!
Overhere in the Netherlands it seemed that spring was FINALLY coming, but now it's snowing again and the wheater forecast predicts more frost, snow and cold.
Hey!! I owned one of these, a 1962 403B, I loved it, great car, awesome car, well done you guys, congrats, that was really cool seeing you drag her out and wash her off, my one had the weird gearshift pattern on the column, brilliant once you figured it out...wish i'd never sold it
This car has a very sentimental value to me and my family. Our car looked exactly like this when i was growing up except for the grill, our's had a thin oval trimming on the grill instead of two straight trims. I've had plenty of good memories with it like family trips and me and my brothers and sisters seated in the back. I would love to own one for myself so I can relive the great moments and memories of my childhood, someday when i can afford to buy one.

Seems all she needs is some new tires, a new battery, oil filter, oil change, lubrication, air filter and a tank of fuel to make her ride again.

@helmuthoorn very true about that rear axel!!
my dad used to own a black one.
I have driven one for a few km's in downtown Paris (1992!) to make a test run.
very cool car.

@jfv65
Peugeot used to be the best French car.
This model was at tough as old boots as long as you lubricated it correctly
The diesels ran for ever and some of them even now still do.

hi Henrik
How is the old lady doing ?
helmuthoorn 2 years ago
Now she is just hibenating in garage, but maybe next summer she hits the roads again.
HenrikWokkim 2 years ago
Can understand that.
Overhere in the Netherlands it seemed that spring was FINALLY coming, but now it's snowing again and the wheater forecast predicts more frost, snow and cold.
In Sweden it's even worse so l've heared.
Wait 6/8 weeks.

Weathers haven't been good lately. Around May it get warm and snow has melted and it's better for older cars

Gear shifter is different than in a normal 403. They made only few with this kind of transmission.

do you have more videos of the car?? I have one of 1964 to be restored

I have a 1960 403 as well....I have owned it for 4 years, driven it for 30.ooo kilometers, and am proud of it......
It is one of the few still running examples in Holland.
They are also here scarse...Succes with the old Peu!
Greetings from a proud Dutch 403 owner, Anne.

Hello. Nice video. My father owns one, but it is rotting away under a shed. I plan to resurrect this car when I have some money.
