@FoetalSpace It has a sync out jack that you could probably clock to an external analog sequencer, but there is no MIDI in or out. There are some hacks/mods being done out there tho. Just Google it!

@Benny9993 and do what, play crappy songs? I think DJ's havent used bliptronics at raves, because they are no where near as good as the stuff they need to perform a good show. However, maybe one song just to show off this nifty gadget.

it may be the fact that the switch causes the port to think that the unit is playing by its self

Not 100% sure since I 1) don't have a second, and 2) don't feel like ripping mine open...

My guess is that when you're flipping the tone switch a signal momentarily gets lost - likely when it's right on the clock signal.

At least that's my semi-educated guess ^_^
