I don't think Sam was trying to be Greg at all in this. I think he was just playing the part. I wasn't alive when Elvis was, but this song makes me think of his kind of style he'd sing. I think that' where the Elvis lip is coming from. I am pretty sure that Captain Feathersword does it too in this song, or it might be another song.

Sam is a very talented singer. i do miss Greg as the yellow Wiggle, but I think Sam does a wonderful job at it.

@ratpackprincess38 I couldn't disagree more. People look into things and speculate too much. Every person is an individual. Who knows, maybe Sam is an even bigger fan of Elvis than Greg. There are so many postings where 'Sam' is the bad guy who ruined the Wiggles. He hasn't. The only thing that changed is the standard that people expect of the Wiggles WITH Greg. Nobody can ever replace Greg. BUT Sam is clearly an excellent theatrical singer. He's not condescending either.

Sam is NOT trying to be like Greg at all. If I'm not mistaken, everybody is entitled to be a fan of Elvis. Just because Sam and Greg both are fond of him, does that mean that Sam is trying to be like Greg? Not at all. Its funny though, I don't remember any outcry about this (back in Sam's dancer days) like when he dressed as Elvis in "The Lion is King" in "Go Bananas."

I really enjoy watching Sam's reoccuring roles as Dapper Dave the pirate. His performance was outstanding due to his unspeakable talent and amazing acting skills. I really miss the segments with Captain Feathersword and his crew, especially Dapper Dave.

Before I started babysitting, I wasn't really aware fo the wiggles (I knew abotu them, having heard them on TV as a five year old , fifteen yrs ago) but now, I find myself OBSESSED with them. I think its fantastic! and it reallly helps with babysitting.

It's not from a movie, and it's not actually from the T.V. show. Originally, it's from the "Here Comes The Big Red Car' DVD that was released January 3, 2006. This segment, like many others from some of the later DVDS with Greg were incorporated into The Wiggles T.V. series number 4 and number 5, so that is why you can find it on the t.v. show.
