  • where can i buy that stuff????

  • Nice!!!!

  • i dont know about playing live but when its comes to beats listen to 'blu and exile' below the heavens' thats one of the only hip hop albums iv felt in a looooooong while.

  • brutal

  • look at him clicking the shit out of that....

  • ill shit

  • Sounded shithouse

  • He must boss at S.I.M.O.N.

  • this guy is so chilling

    awesome. damn

    im amazed

  • I quit.

  • MEH

  • hay look its xperiment lol jk

  • Still have no idea why people think this dude is better than araab. Hell, Boon Doc is far better than this guy at playing live

  • @nawdik yeah but Araab Muzik is all about making "swag" beats and getting big stacks of money, this is actually making music for the sake of making music

  • @nawdik Because Araab just hits his pads fast, and uses the same samples over and over, which is kinda annoying. Exile is a real musician, and is constantly looking for new samples (he even samples from radio), and cares about groove more than anything, and doesn't think you have to fill every blank to make a beat (he's got mad skills tho). It's like comparing Joey Jordison from slipknot and ?uestlove. I don't know Boon Doc tho.

  • @Skwig0 Araab is wack I've never heard him produce anything I enjoyed listening to, and I agree same drum samples every time and always 16ht note triplet hihats

  • @nawdik araab's samples are whack, always

  • @nawdik Araab is just fast, Exile actually takes time and puts in to the music aspect, different sounds and chops, now Araab is nice but if they were to go head to head and compete to see who can make a better beat Exile would toast his ass

  • @nawdik yup, and as far as the live, im better than all of em

  • @nawdik Yea, i mean what Exile does is cool, but it's really just about stacking/padlinking. Not overwhelming hard once you find a rhythm. Copying Araab, though.. Good luck. Dude's insane.

  • @nawdik Why does he have to be better then other artist? Everybody has there own style and put their own flavor in the game. Wheres your creative output? Oh wait you dont got one so you just judge others. I have a great idea, shoot yourself!!! =)

  • @DasHidden Thank you for pointing out the obvious. However Exile and araab are two of the most popular live MPC players thus the comparison you moron.

  • крутяк

  • dammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmnnnnnn

  • Lol these comments are

    Hilarious

  • I like the sample from Watermelon man... wicked

  • What MPC i that and what other equipment does he use?

  • @CataKlysmiC 2000xl, and his ears

  • karate chop that shit exile!

  • that was sick lol

  • @CentipedeTheGreat all of araab muziks beats sound the same plus his attitude is fucking terrible.

  • 1:12 was one of the sickest things i have ever heard...

  • dude straight sic wit it....

  • did he record this by any chance? Would LOVE a clean recording(Mp3) ;D

  • shit hot got dr dre feel to it

  • this shit is so ridiculously ill.

  • sounds hella corny man

  • @ballah112 and araab muzik isnt? pffft get outta here nigga

  • @slowpokecity u gon front a say araab shit wack???u get the fuk outta here nigga,uz a hater

  • @ballah112 i aint sayin hes wack at all, he got skills but the same way you think this is corny i think that doubletime hihats, after a scream, then switching from hihats to a highpitched 808 is corny. every thing hes ever made sounds the same. hes dope but he aint versatile like exile

  • @slowpokecity Have you heard Jurassic 5 - baby please? Don't think you can say he's not versatile if you've heard that...

  • it's not a competition damn

  • To everyone who thinks this guy is good: Check out Araabmuzik.

  • @DaBoZz4393 araab is the new king... 401 stand up

  • Araab musik would murk this cat

  • @Fyeagass16 Exile is they Blake Griffin, yall want him 2 be the truth but it's not him! All the Araab haters keep fishin'!

  • i am shaking my head in shock. like damn!

  • seen him, this guy have skills :)

  • Exile , not good music

    Exile, God Music!

  • Not as easy as it looks, shit is harrrrd as fuck to get your timing correct. Any producers know what up

  • Love ya, Ex! lucky to have seen him play his MPC live ...upside down! :)

  • he literally KARATE chopped that shit HA!

  • who sez you need a sequencer?

  • anyone notice the sample from " the widest sound" rebel mc" or am i crazy? lol

  • man this is good, i think it's natural, but it looks easy to me. Just press buttons and make the beat smooth

  • @IcedHaaze He worked in the samples a lot before doing that. it's a lot of previous work man!

  • @IcedHaaze that's absolutely not easy, believe me :D i'm gonna do my first mpc-live performance in 3 days and that's really a lot of previous work and practising!

  • I'm sorry but, what's the big deal here? I mean I could do what he's doing it's not that hard. He's triggering the same samples, and just playing the same thing.... I'm not hating even though it sounds like I am. But I just don't get it

  • @DjFreshmatic i can see where your coming from if you dont completely know how mpc sampling works, its not like he jjust loads up some program and all those sounds are there he had to search for those of records and make the fit the tempo may seem easy but i assure you it is a skill that takes time to perfect

  • @MrSalmon88 I know how mpc sampling works, I used to sample and make beats myself. And I agree with you that the guy probably did allot of effort finding those sounds, I just think he could of used them better. there's no groove or feeling ( atleast not to me).

  • @DjFreshmatic it did appear to be just a freestyle live set or whatever you wanna call it but exile is one of the best out when it comes to sampling check out some stuff off his albums he really has skill ive seen interviews with people like alchemist,9nthwonder,and even pete rock saying this guy is no one to mess with

  • @MrSalmon88 I've seen/heard his other work, and yeah I admit the man has skills no doubt. I just didn't like this particular "set"

  • @DjFreshmatic not even when he karate chops the mpc at the end? you gotta love that shit

  • @MrSalmon88 Karate chops on a mpc? how can someone not love that lol

  • @DjFreshmatic mr salmon got ur there.

    think before ya talks son

  • SICK ! Love that herbie hancock sample! you lay it down fucking well

  • DOPE!!!!

  • there is only one word to describe this guys skill -DAAAAAAMN FRIDAY STYLE!

  • lol thiiiis is siiick...but i couldn't help but think while i watched its a chubby dude sitting on a couch chillin, pressin buttons. i know he made the samples or took the samples and assembled the equipment., but he's makin movessss chillin on a couch drinkin wine in his kangol hat...like a boss

  • mpc skill !

  • W-T-F?!?! AHHHH!!!!!! THIS SHIT IS INSANE!!!!!!

  • exile chopin the shit out of that MPC

  • damn, didnt know okwerdz made beats too.

  • i mean, your talented but common people. really? DJ Rafik is a hundred times better.

  • geez mate way to butcher watermelon man

  • he go hard buth araab muzik go's harder

  • nicely don samples

  • slow, out of time, watch jel, learn a lesson

  • Jel ftw ... nuff said.

  • is that a glass of wine? LOL

  • dope

  • so sick

  • how did anyone even notice the wine? i was too busy watchin his hands lool

  • WE-TOD-ED!

  • keepin it classy with some wine

  • the first part from the beat is so fucking good :D but later its a fuckin´ shit

  • Dope.

  • i love how hes just chillin there wit some wine.. thats how u should groove.

  • so gooooood!!!

  • that snare is fresh

  • Look!!Perfect timing, sounds nice...and his face is like..if he was watching a tv program..there are really talented people for sure. (or too much time of practice and enjoyment could be also ;-)) Nice skills

  • I got a record from Sound In Colour, where exile plays the watermelon man... but this performance kills it!

  • Oida... oafoch amoi so ausm Haundgelenk g'schüttlt...

  • does exile sell his spunk on ebay? cause based upon some of these comments he has at least a few buyers.

Performance was WELL long, and what the F@*& is an MPC?

  • @MichaelDubstep

mpc=music production center its whats hes useing the one he has is the mpc 2000xl

  • this shit is crazy, just the knowledge of layering the right sounds to be able to play like that and being cognizant with your hands to play live and not even go offbeat. .

  • cool

  • hong kong phooey mutha fucka! great beats

  • Looove the watermelon man bit

    sooo sick

  • dude gt mr miyagi on em.. sick

  • diggin that bit of herbie hancock he threw in hah sick shit

  • Never thought I'd see watermelon man chopped up

  • Except its chopped as good as japanese sushi

  • his sick ! realy incredible.

  • what 'craitdigga' said is the truth...everything made after the XL is garbage

  • was that head hunter?

  • yeeeeeeeeeeee

  • just watched the full Vid on Red Bull Music Academy, it's like 1 hour 14 min long. Exile is just SICK. Blu is good too

  • the wine glasses .)

  • @traenq The wine is like "God damn Exile!"

  • Thats becaude the Pads on the 2000Xl are super soft ....mpc 2500, Mpc100, Mpc500 all have hard ass pads (pause)

  • they are spongier and easier on your fingers but the newer mpc pads feel more responsive to me.

if anyone has a problem with the pads on their 2500 , ill be glad to trade an xl for it lol. the softer pads do feel nicer but it ill trigger samples with a keyboard if im too lazy to switch so it doesnt really bother me

  • Man, exile would have been breakin that machine....his pads would have been 'worn in' by now, till where there alot softer then what comes of the factory shelf.

  • kieza dagadt geci?

  • HIs pads are so light....i got an mpc1000 and i practically break my fingers whenever i use it.

    Wtf...what mpc does he have

  • padkontrol you tried?

  • mpc 2000xl

  • you need to get new pads m8

  • either that or yah pad sensitivity is low

  • or your dumb

  • so over rated

  • could anyone rap on this?? :-D

  • Easily.

  • check out caddycuts

  • Simply amazing! Awesome work.

  • Herbie Hancock! Woooooooooooo!!!! I have that album! Dj Cas. Lawrence, Kansas

  • that shit was straight ill!!!

    exile is a beast!!!

  • is he still doin shit with aloe blacc???

  • KARATE!

  • that was ill when he startd karate choppn at the end of the vid ! hhahaa

  • this is really nice! :D

    nice video and awesome artist..

  • Crazy!

  • Holy hell man, you have some sick sick sick talent. I cannot believe how quickly your brain works. You are a super hero

  • @merrjame12 go into a japanese gaming store just once. u wont believe ur eyes they do movements on the buttons like 10 times fast than exile here lol

  • @merrjame12 /watch?v=PuIrGdGls68

  • Does it look like I don't know how to write?

who gives a crap about "piss poor grammar" anyways. I wouldn't have passed if I didn't!!

    All 10 grades + a little more.

  • ya'll think he's tight? Search AraabMuzik

  • trip hop i think i can here frankie beverly in amungest that

  • lmao, people like your take me into a world of histeria lol.

  • ::: 5 Stars :::

    Very nice...

  • I agree with fullmetal piano is more complex, but dude, an opinion is an opinion. You guys are all fucking arguing about nothing

  • You're one "dumb ass mother fuckn prick" if you don't know how to write either.

  • sick shit, love the chops

  • *facepalm* Come on guys... You all know music is an artistic expression. An opinionated view on reverberations through different mediums... While piano has some qualities in its own regards, aka nostalgic & traditional, digital carries greater variation in expression. Digital and analogue is apples to oranges, they are respectable in their own fields. Menof300 is exactly right in the point that piano only expresses 7 notes and 5 accidentals in multiple octaves; the MPC is about the same.

  • nice real nice

  • just downloaded it, and made a ringtone of it =D

  • Actually I belive piano is much more of a complicated instrument. While this has what? 9 keys, buttons, whatever a piano has 81. 9 to 81....I belive a piano takes more skill to compose great music. Personally I have no dought I could do this with the right software. The programing is nice but that is about it. Nickposse you are wroung. Pain is right.

  • i totally agree with you but for me id love to learn how to play the piano but then again, i think i can create much better music with an mpc cause of how fast i am with my fingers, but then again everyone has a different view, lets not get hostile.

  • Why not get both.

  • ok for one yes poano has alot of buttons... but most of them are repeats... it repats to make it easier to play with out tying your arms up... this guy has talent... you can do this if your 30 and had a MPC since you were 5... its very difficult to learn the buttons and rythems... un like piano where you have a book that tells you what notes to play... you play an MPC for listening to it... and years of practice... so im sorry but i disagree with your comment...

  • a piano can only make 1 sound.

the sounds you can put on an mpc are limitless .

  • the best before 0:32 but after that it still rules the world =)

  • omg amazing! this ownz

  • if you dont know how to play this

    dont play tho

  • Freestyle on a MPC Nicceee

I think i can beat you..

    Everybody checkout my New Production

  • Mediocre...

And what's with the name... Everybody knows Tim Exile, and he wrote his first tracks and first software before you knew what a sampler is, so show some fucking respect and don't name yourself after a true legend!!!

  • And you tool got hendrix in your online name...LOL

  • So?

I don't call myself JIMI HENDRIX do I?! This is just an account name... It means nothing and I'm not copying anyone's stage name...

  • more watermelon man anyone?

  • nice rtyhm, i like that 5/5

  • I love it, I just don't "get" the ending, it looks screwed up.

But, I still loved it :)

  • yesh! the asian karate chop at the end ;D

  • mad props to exile. they're right. i owned one of these for over a year and only started to learn how to use it to its full potential. it takes incredible skill in recognizing tones, memorization, beat synchronization, and rhythym. exile is pretty damn good.

  • dude, stfu, i've tried to play one of those things (and im a fricken drummer), and i cant play it.. if you dont like the music, change the youtube cli[, dont diss other peoples work...

  • Would be a fun addition to the Leap Frog series

  • i think he knows what he is doing. Props to exile. My opinion is that he is good at what he is doing! Instead of all these kids thinking they can do it. i played with this before and it fun and easy but you have to have the right beats to make it sound good.

  • not bad

  • I love seeing the retards that dont know anything about music type up immature crap everyday...they need to get a life

  • i'm sorry, but this is not music in my opinion. all he is doing is tapping buttons. anyone with rhythm can do this.

  • Tapping buttons? Like a piano? Same concept, different tones.

  • Don't even think about comparing this little device to a piano

    Piano is much more complex

    You don't just tap buttons

First of all, they're called keys, and it takes more than just "tapping it" to create music.

Its sad that music has been reduced to something like this.

  • a lot more goes into fucking just tapping the beat pad obviously you wouldnt know and your fucking retarded with a statement like that. music has gone above and beyond because of technology.

  • you're an idiot.

  • I agree.
