Okay, here's the story... He was brought into a record company's rep office to try to get him signed, and they were going to give him a "big entry" to try to impress the rep by releasing 2 doves in the office, and then Ozzy would walk in. They did it, and Ozzy was real fucked up (this was back in the 80's) and decided it wasn't good enough, so he grabbed a dove and bit it. This was a joke. And about the bat, he thought it was a rubber toy that someone threw onstage, so he went with it.
