@phonedork I agree between 2000 and right up till 2004, Coleman was still very competitive. In 2004, he had Fedor at his mercy. Before Verdum submitted Fedor, COleman came the closest to beating Fedor. Coleman & Couture wrestled each other in NCAA and COleman edged Randy back then. In 2000, Couture vs COleman would have been more competitive. Keppi in mind, COleman is meant to fight as a HW. He was well over 230 in Pride and even 255 in his early UFC days.

Overeem is way over rated and a disgrace to MMA. The guy hasn't defended his titlefor2 years and instead competes in K1. K1 is different sport than MMA. Recently Overoid has been facing scrubs in MMA. Rogers hits real hard. Overeem has a suspect chin in the past. Whenever he faced any decent fighter he gets owned. 2 losses to Shogun, and got Koed by Lil Nog. If Rogers can turn the fight into an all out slugfest and be wiling to take some hits, he's got a shot. Rogers chin is stronger.

Actually, it's no surprise. Coleman and Couture have a history that goes back more than 20 years. They competed in college wrestling against each other in 1989, and COleman won that match. They trained together for the US Olympic wrestling team in 1996. In fact they are good friends, and have trained together on several occassions.
