@kissmeboi No they only have shields and armor. You have to get rid of those to use ai hacking. With the Colossus strip the armor away and it explodes so your answer is no.

i just beat it on insanity with the vanguard.. what i used was fortification if works a lot better even though it has a time restriction and i never used charge again all i used was pull field and shockwave.. It is hard to get through shields and armor but i just got the best armor i could and upgraded all my weapons all the way.. Oh and if u get the cain nuke canon then u can kill the final reaper in 3 hits

Biotic classes are annoying to play on insanity because their powers are ineffective against enimies when their defenses are up. Warp becomes the only useful power. Insanity is murdering me because I'm playing the ultra offensive vanguard class while all the battles have become so extremely tactical. Even with the barrier bonus talent I'm slaughtered coments after being exposed
Adept makes you feel like a Jedi or Sith. Especially when you get that evil look from being Renegade. You can toss people around and suck them into black holes... Waltz thru levels with the Imperial March on!
Waltz thru levels on Casual, maybe. Take it to Insanity and all of your biotic powers except Warp are unusable until you break your enemies' defenses (and in Insanity, literally every enemy has some type of defense).
Sentinal all the way he is the ultiment jack of all trades......plus u can make ur loyalty power somthing other then a tech or biotic cuz u already have both types plus tech armor is the ultiment insanity tool

i played full game on three classes. soldier, vanguard and infiltrator. Soldier is and amazing class for shooting, vanguard is a kick ass, really intense!!...and vanguard biotic charge is a very tactical power too. infiltrator focus on sniping, optical camouflage gives you tactical positioning (it´s ok). Im playing centinel and adept now. adept is very poor after playing vanguard. centinel better than adept cause mix tech and biotic, tech armor cool.Definetly soldier and vanguard, are best
@TheWurscht The drone is exceptionally useful. Like the narrator said, the drone takes enemies out of cover, which in turn leads to an incinerate + gun combo. Very useful when you're trying to play on a higher difficulty. When I'm not playing the Engineer, I try to have someone on my team that can deploy a drone, (Tali, Legion) and I make sure to max it out first thing.
3 of the classes on this game only get heavy pistol and smg training.
That's my ONLY complaint. The others have that including a sniper or shotgun. Haven't looked at the soldier yet but it probably has Assault rifle, shotgun and sniper along with heavy pistol or some jazz like that.
Putting that aside this game is easily game of the decade.

I never said that Halo's campaign had replayability but with matchmaking, custom games, and forge it has a high replayability. Also ME2's campaign should be replayable because that is all that it is. If you compaire CAMPAIGNS than yes ME2 beats Halo 3, but if you compair over all than Halo either is better by a small margin or thier equal. And AGAIN you really can't compair the two, they ARE TWO TOTALY DIFFERENT TYPES OF GAMES.

Because its probably one of the weakest classes which pumps up the action and tactics you need to play. In my opinion engineer class is probably the best because if you can beat the game on the hardest difficulty with a engineer then...your pretty badass.
Oh.. I'll probably pick something else then, I dont play games just to prove Im good at them. I'm looking for something thats powerful, yet realy fun.
That was the first game though, engineers for this one they just basically overrun the enemies with sheer number so basically instead of having 2 allies you could have 4. Along with incinerate and Cryo blast the engineers are surely going to pelt away at the enemies ranks quite quickly. Also by using overload efficiently you can possibly take out a larger enemy fast. But whats the fun in that when you could just take over that enemies body?
Biotics not magic, codex attempts to explain this using possible physics that are still being studied; not supernatural bs that any writer can throw in without explanation. Also what class you are is balanced by what squad members you choose. " overpowered" hmmm perhaps but insanity difficulty does even things out a bit, the bonus talent system mostly counteracts any balance issues. Perhaps you want higher difficulty? I would then agree; I hope that ME1 is not dumbed down for casual gamers!
The problem with all the classes is the weapon restriction system with all weapons. Apparently, you are the greatest warrior earth has to offer, but unless you're the soldier class, you're unable to look down the sight of an Assault rifle. Why bother allowing people to get shotguns or sniper rifles IF YOU CAN'T USE THEM? That's right, you get a sniper rifle that you can't use the sight for. Absolutely useless.
Nah, even I know that, once you (I think) kill 150 people with a certain weapon you get the ability to equip that weapon. And you can give that to any class. There basically achievement based. So kille 150 With assault on soldier, and give that to other classes I think

as a soldier, basically all you have to do is get the best assault rifle in the game, and your good to go. i could run into a group of enemies as a soldier and start shooting like a mad man with very little damage done to myself. my soldier had more firepower than the mako lol. adepts however, while still fun to play, die a lot easier especially if your abilities r on cooldown.
@Nylis23 Very true. In my second playthrough with a vanguard that could use assault rifles, an elevator opened behind me with four geth in it, i reflexively tracked my Specter AR across them, and killed all in less than half a second, with just a from the hip spray.
hey ive played ME1 too and ive played both classes through the story but they have made very large changes to this one and made each class have unique moves and abilities that match each other. An adept can lift enemies and through them, an engineer can shoot a beam that freezes or burns in sometimes the area. Not a huge difference there
What difference does it make? It's an RPG. Enjoy it for the mechanics, story, amazing visuals and freedom, something this game will have plenty of. This isn't an FPS, you don't measure a persons skill with this game. Obviously you aren't a hardcore gamer, which is fine, but don't come on here and preach your arrogant ways knowing full well that hardcore gamers will watch it as well. Some people consider video games an art to be appreciated, not just a port to virtually compare dicks with others.

And with a gamerscore of 60k and about 10 hours, on my not busy days, of play i dont think its a good choice to try and call me out as not being "hardcore". I like the sentinel the most, tech armor is a life saver sometimes also biotics are helpful against husks (ragdoll physics FTW).
Plus you can get AR or shotgun training as you go through the game.

@soggywaffleman i think that you already picked ur class by now...but it doesnt seem like it attacked it...i could be wrong...but it seems as if he just got hit from another weapon fire...seems like some sort of barrier around the drone so it could just be reflecting damage....

@ibloxProductionz Play as a soldier and get i think 200 kills with the assault rifle, then you can add it as a bonus ability. and then you have vanguard w/ assault rifle, my favorite class

Because its probably one of the weakest classes which pumps up the action and tactics you need to play. In my opinion engineer class is probably the best because if you can beat the game on the hardest difficulty with a engineer then...your pretty badass.

That was the first game though, engineers for this one they just basically overrun the enemies with sheer number so basically instead of having 2 allies you could have 4. Along with incinerate and Cryo blast the engineers are surely going to pelt away at the enemies ranks quite quickly. Also by using overload efficiently you can possibly take out a larger enemy fast. But whats the fun in that when you could just take over that enemies body?

Biotics not magic, codex attempts to explain this using possible physics that are still being studied; not supernatural bs that any writer can throw in without explanation. Also what class you are is balanced by what squad members you choose. " overpowered" hmmm perhaps but insanity difficulty does even things out a bit, the bonus talent system mostly counteracts any balance issues. Perhaps you want higher difficulty? I would then agree; I hope that ME1 is not dumbed down for casual gamers!

Cause I just ordered ME1 for 10Bucks and am interesting in the magic type.
I heard soldier is overpowered though, so I won't play as that, cause it sounds cheap

The problem with all the classes is the weapon restriction system with all weapons. Apparently, you are the greatest warrior earth has to offer, but unless you're the soldier class, you're unable to look down the sight of an Assault rifle. Why bother allowing people to get shotguns or sniper rifles IF YOU CAN'T USE THEM? That's right, you get a sniper rifle that you can't use the sight for. Absolutely useless.

Nah, even I know that, once you (I think) kill 150 people with a certain weapon you get the ability to equip that weapon. And you can give that to any class. There basically achievement based. So kille 150 With assault on soldier, and give that to other classes I think

@CHRISTIANSOLDIER101 that isnt entirely true. Personally i had an easier time playing as a soldier than an adept.
as a soldier, basically all you have to do is get the best assault rifle in the game, and your good to go. i could run into a group of enemies as a soldier and start shooting like a mad man with very little damage done to myself. my soldier had more firepower than the mako lol. adepts however, while still fun to play, die a lot easier especially if your abilities r on cooldown.

@Nylis23 Very true. In my second playthrough with a vanguard that could use assault rifles, an elevator opened behind me with four geth in it, i reflexively tracked my Specter AR across them, and killed all in less than half a second, with just a from the hip spray.

hey ive played ME1 too and ive played both classes through the story but they have made very large changes to this one and made each class have unique moves and abilities that match each other. An adept can lift enemies and through them, an engineer can shoot a beam that freezes or burns in sometimes the area. Not a huge difference there

What difference does it make? It's an RPG. Enjoy it for the mechanics, story, amazing visuals and freedom, something this game will have plenty of. This isn't an FPS, you don't measure a persons skill with this game. Obviously you aren't a hardcore gamer, which is fine, but don't come on here and preach your arrogant ways knowing full well that hardcore gamers will watch it as well. Some people consider video games an art to be appreciated, not just a port to virtually compare dicks with others.

And with a gamerscore of 60k and about 10 hours, on my not busy days, of play i dont think its a good choice to try and call me out as not being "hardcore".
