  • I'm sorry but the US has never invaded Iran and US troops did not install the Shah. The Shah had been running Iran for centuries before we showed up in the middle east. I wish people would get their facts straight.

And why the hell are people supporting a guy who supports torture?

  • he didn't say US troops went in he said when "we went in" meaning the cia which is just what happend, the cia (with mi5) went in and helped organise a coup to overthrow a democraticly elected president beause he nationalised oil. they then re-instaled the Shah, look it up its called project Ajax: 1953 "i wish people would get thier facts staight"

  • Very well done, excellent commentary.

  • Back in the 90's, Clinton sent legislation to Congress to tighten airport security. The legislation was defeated by the Republicans because of opposition from the airlines. Clinton sent legislation to Congress to allow for better tracking of terrorist funding--defeated by Republicans because of opposition from banking interests. Clinton sent legislation to Congress to add tagents to explosives—defeated by the Republicans because of opposition from the NRA.

  • Thank you for this vivid, clear and honest assessment of the fear and war mongering of our Republican "leaders." Their desire to kill it truly shameful.

  • Of course, regarding Ron Paul, Iraq is just one, albeit the most critical, issue facing our nation. I'm not sure Paul's libertarian philosophies on other issues would be as popular as his stance on the war.

  • Up until about a month ago I had lost about all hope of finding someone worth getting excited about in the 08 election. That was until I ran across Ron Paul! He is the straightest talking AND acting man running by far. I didn't know there was anyone left in government that felt the same way I do. I cannot wait to vote for this man. And for my countries sake, I hope you all do the same. His slogan fits perfectly how I see him. Hope for America!! (NOTE: This is not spam, Just how I feel)

  • jajajaja, excellent

  • Gorgeous! Thank you, YouTube. How else would such reasoned responses ever come to light? These Lords of War are believers in the natural superiority of the United States, like slave-owners some two centuries ago, who considered slavery "The White Man's Burden."

  • very well done brother, it's hard to imagine that guliani DOESEN'T EVEN KNOW why 911 happened but it's pretty clear he doesn't. plus three of those guys think evolution is not real?! others think it's okay to fire gay people 'cause their gay?! where's my sodacan rocket ship cucumber?

  • If we stop raping the rest of the world, you can be sure that terrorism against us would decrease enormously.

  • Great video!I have heard the Republican party described as the moral party. This video exposes the sham of morality, as nothing more than fear mongering. "Enhanced interrogation techniques", "no lawyers for prisoners", "kill them all before they come here to kill us" are certainly not among the moral principles that I was taught. "There never was a good war or a bad peace", wrote Benjamin Franklin.

  • More hard hitting, sharply observed reporting by Bryan Long. It provides a frightening insight into the depth of the illogical, sabre-rattling rhetoric used by the Republicans which is not otherwise seen over in the UK through the main media outlets. Really chilling twists of logic and shockingly deep distortions of fact and history. They really should be very, very ashamed.

  • Awesome video. It shows why Ron Paul makes a lot of sense; R.P. had more to say on Bill Maher's show last week regarding this exchange with with Rudy.

  • Unfortunately, Ron Paul is as xenophobic as Republicans. He's always introducing bills to pull the U.S. out of the United Nations. He's a fringe loony.

  • re: PerryLogan; I have to agree. Ron Paul is dead on accurate and reasonable regarding Iraq and military adventurism, but he is fairly radical himself as a libertarian. Rather than reform the tax code, shut down the IRS and most of the government. Don't think that's a good idea!

  • Bryan Long's compendium of the idiocy of the Republican candidate's arguments should be re-run on PBS and the NYT every day until the Grand Old Party of the Republic sinks into the mire in which it loves to wallow. Five stars!
