  • what is component inputs ?

  • I used to work for the cable company and I can say that Samsung has the best TVs that I have seen out there. Everything from my computer monitors to TVs are all Samsung. I don't get the wireless aspect though. It would look tacky to have the power cord hanging, so if you are going to route the power cord behind the wall, why not do the other cables at the same time? Plus a vertical drop like that isn't at all hard to do.

  • is this the only size or is there an 60" aswell?

  • does it come any bigger?

  • 6:56 look closely at Peter Parker and don't blink (laaaaggg) haha lol

  • doesn't streaming lag behind slightly? If I add a PS3 to that that could be a problem playing games.

  • Get you Asian wife lushfmlk.info

  • @TigerDirectBlog

    Thanks for the video.

if i were to unplug by blu-ray player from the hdmi cable and instead use the wireless setup, would it effect my picture quality?

would i still be able watch movies at the quality that the hdmi cable delivers?

    thanks

  • thumb up of u keep watching the movie

  • what a load of Bollox

  • Will this be able to wirelessly stream my iphones screen to my tv?

  • Plasma suck LED Better!!

  • so wait if you have no internet access no tv?

  • sony tvs are the best

  • thats cool all tv should be like that

  • Does anyone know the Wireless Home AV Center Part #, I critically need a replacement and I can't find one anywhere, maybe the part number will help me. My Set-top box is missing... thanks anyone who can help.

  • theres a better tv now, a COMPLETELY wireless tv, no power cable at all.

  • @ctoon6 what is the name of this wireless tv u speak of?

  • it was on one of the tech shows for 2010, sorry i cant remember.

it worked by a thing that generated a very strong magnetic pulse and i think the tv worked like a mini power plant from the magnetic pulse.

i think they also said it wont come out for a few years too.

  • haier

  • Haier wireless tv

  • @ctoon6 So it comes with a power plant inside the TV?

    Awesome!

  • hot to configure my dvd remote to this samsung remote i need soluion if possible a video demonstration thank you

  • Samsung tvs are cheap junk that use cheap parts that burn up just after the warranty expires. Use your head and do a google search on these junk tvs before you buy. Don't be one of these game boys that can cry to mommy to get a new one when it turns to TOAST.

  • yeah this is the future u got like 3 tvs in your house and one box streaming to them different channels that will solve a lot of problems

  • where did you buy this product!

  • there no lagg all

  • hmmmmm...... the technology isn't there yet......

reviews on this tv average at about 3.5

  • Streaming massive video bandwidth wirelessly? Sounds like a bad idea. I doubt they would make future HDTVs like this.

Hahaha you can even see the video stutter and screw up during the video demo of Spider-Man.

  • Saw this HDTV for 1,150$ at Naptronics.

  • Never Ever buy samsung TV, my uncle has the same TV and compared to the New Sony Bravia that ive seen in best buy, samsung is a piece of shit! when buying a TV buy Sony or Pioneer all the other companies suck

  • u forgot Panasonic..

  • Sony sucks ass, they just overprice their shit.

Sony's LCDs AND plasmas are inferior to everybody elses's.

When you buy plasma it's better to buy either Panasonic or Pioneer (though these Samsung are really good), and if you're buying an LCD it's Samsung, Samsung and Samsung!!

Though Sharp LCDs are pretty good too.

  • Samsung is losing the game, starting to decline, the picture is no where as good as many other companies anymore, philips lcds are better than samsung now, im a tv technician and i come across alot of samsungs with problems than any other, but the most tvs people own nowadays is panasonic and philips, i professionaly calibrate them the most. samsungs arent selling anymore due to reliability issues and the picture is no where near as good as other, samsung used to be the best but they are defunct

  • were u born yesterday? do not judge by seeing one single tv when so many more advanced tvs are out there. samsung happens to have the highest rated quality tvs reviewed by PROFESSIONALS as well as panasonic & sharp!! i do not hear sonys being good any more but there are so many other brands w/ good reviews

  • its way to expensive for teenagers

  • eh... it's cool.. but only half wireless..

  • bullshit if you have to cover the power cable you can hide 2 more cables omg

  • I am so buying this one for the wireless feature! I cant stand the sight of trailing cables in the living room. Thanks for the review.

  • I was looking for this one! Gonna get it for my future Apartment! :)

  • got it yesterday :) its soooooooooooo coooooollll, use it with ps3, reaaaaaaaally gooood

  • Marx

  • I got that tv! :D

  • actually i do this with with Playstation 3, i just plug PS3

on power and i watch movies on psp screen via wifi

So this is not so a new technology sony already start

  • How ironic would it be if the remote was wired :P

  • lol

  • lol thats mad next thing will be wireless electricity but that might be a bit dangerous?

  • Actually wireless electricity has been done by a guy called Tesla. He lit a field full of bulbs with no wires. The idea never caught on because it would be easy to steal the electricity. Wikipedia it :)

  • does the box what makes it wireless come with it?

  • ive got a 60" pioneer KURO how is this better?

  • dude ive seen the kuro compared to the samsung i dnt see what makes kuro so expensive

    but samsungs good

  • lol ur screwed when tat box gets broken

  • it's bad for gaming though

  • why ?

  • because the wireless can't keep up with 60 fps

  • How do you figure that? 1080p/24 needs about 20-30mbit to stream smoothly, and 802.11.n does 300mbit.

  • Wireless video ?!? That;s crazy !

  • can u conncet the conputer to it?.

  • yeah u connect through that wireless box

  • bollocks this sounds like it came out 2 years ago - besides the wireless bit, which the presenter mentioned like 50 times altho we all picked up straight away , 3 hdmi is not sucha big deal niether is contrast ratio 10000 - 1 especialy for plasma screen id sooner get pioneer kuro or panasonic 80py screen, im not impressed at all :(

  • sounds EXTREMELEY expensive..... i want it!

  • i just got mines like 2 days ago its not that expensive 1200

  • @503allday Hi sorry to bother you, do you have any idea what the part number of the wireless receiver is? I need a replacement and I can't find one anywhere, thank you and once again sorry for bothering you.

  • does it wireless 802.11 signal may interfare with wiressless signal on the rounter?

I notice my wireless frequency interfare with

my wirless rounter static noise very bad. with other wireless 5.8ghz phone not interfare but my 2.44ghz fequency interfare with rounter.

  • im getting it

  • I love samsung LCDs and Plasmas

  • if it runs over a wifi network, you think you could use your computer to tap into the stream for tv capturing?

  • LMAO funny how that TV is same as mine but its 51" and its not wireless LMAO

the remote is same as my TV and ya its from Samsung!! I got it $1290 less b/c I was gonna get a LCD 45" one but they didn't have it so they gave us a Plasma one and it's a 51"

How lucky am I hehe its almost a yr now since I got it and still good on everything

    SAMSUNG ROCKS!!!

  • hmm, that usb. Will that work with an external drive and play hd movies from that?

  • no it wont play moives...

  • kkkkkkok

  • new desk?

  • I prefer samsungs the most when it comes to televisions. im planning to buy one within the next year hopefully but 1400 dollars is way too far out of my budget. ill probly go for a 37" samsungat 720p.

  • Doesnt sound bad. But i would go for it. I prefer wired tecno.

  • Yup, Another toy for all the rich basturds.

  • init

  • don't be hatin!

  • Wireless. That sounds crap.

WHY?? I bet there is lag like hell and picture freezing.

  • Awesome, I am glad they made this. New technology is ALWAYS a good thing because it encourages improvements and gives people ideas for even newer technology.

    I love Samsung's contrast ratios.

    Great review.

  • and if the box falls down and ... :S

    no tv :)

  • i want that as my pc monitor :)

  • Wow! What an amazing piece of kit!

  • after a little research, I discovered that Samsung (or "Samsung Groups"), as of today, stands as one of the three biggest, largest, and richest electronics companies in the world, with a revenue of approximately $174 billion. Now THAT is one huge ass company! And here I thought Sony was the best... ppsshhh!

  • first of all, samsung is the best company ever. second, you can see the tv glitching, my guess is slow wireless?

  • Samsung plasmas rock

  • i think they messed up by making it plasma.. they've become sort of uncommon because burn in has become too big of an issue. Especially because some tv programs aren't widescreen. My friend has a rather old plasma (by pioneer) and you can see permanent lines on the sides from the burn in from watching the non widescreen programs. I just think lcd would last longer while maintaining its quality.

  • I MUST HAVE THAT!

  • Slick HDTV. Gotta love Samsung displays :3

  • Damn now thats a cool TV! :D

  • only if the had it with lcd tv

  • its still not ready, quality is not as good as wired and it has delay

  • "can be programmed to control your DVD player or... VCR?!?! no-one who can afford a 50" wireless plasma will be using videos :P

  • well if the lag is over half a sec, wich would be ginormous, then its not a good gaming TV. you wouldnt notice it with anyting else

  • TV delay is ~ 180 ms.

  • on this particular TV ? or in general ? 180 ms is 0.18 sec right ?

  • quite a lot actually, imagine yourself playing online with a delay like that, thats big

  • In this particular TV .

Even though 0.18 sec may seem unnoticeable , I've read some reviews pointing out that if you're using an home theater system , you'll have to set the same delay on the speakers , otherwise you'll experience a not synchronized picture/sound movie .

And oh , if you're into gaming , 180 ms is alooot .

Sry about my broken english .

  • 180ms? WTF are you getting this info??

Typically, TVs have 8-16ms response times. That's pretty good for such a large screen actually.

  • I agree. But 180ms is good for a wireless Tv. But I dont see no need to be wireless. Better if it was with wire but better respond time :D

  • 180 ms is not so bad samsung t260hd have delay 43 ms by hdmi so is not bad:/

  • 180 ms isn't bad , but it's noticeable ;)

  • hella slow Ive seen TV's that have 5ms

  • have the wireless box in the living room with where the cable is..then put this in your room.

  • the wireless thing sucks there is lag between the tv and the reciever. look in google.

  • nice TV ^^

  • The wireless thing is awesome! =]

  • even worse than first, just wondering WHATS SO SPECIAL ABOUT IT, and i hope your joking tbh

  • first fag to post useless shit on a good video.

good job computer tv. Sweet tv.

  • ur gay
