I want to drive one sooo bad, the old ones arent very pricey. Parents feel they are too unsafe and unrealistic

I just got a 96 miata and it's the funnest car I've ever driven. Unrealistic? It seems pretty tangible to me. Just tell them you're looking at motorcycles but you'll settle for a Miata.

@starlafur alligator headlights? um 1st gen was the flip ups which was 89-94 i think and 2nd gen was pretty much the same car but a 1.8 and stationary headlights and the current which is the 3rd gen looks a lot like the other miatas but not the best looking to me lol and the chassis are NA NB NC i have heard of a 4th gen coming (ND)
