To qoni27: Several churches that I know of have been having these conversations for quite a while now. Don't they take place in YOUR place of worship?

Surely you've at least begun with "love thy neighbor as thyself? If not, (or if you don't believe in worship), why haven't YOU gotten things started?

This is not about a candidate; it's about All God's Children figuring out how to get along better "down here" if we ever hope to have a shot at eternal life together "up there." Peace.

Look, I don't know if you really believe that, based on what you've been fed; or whether it's your perceived "duty" to keep mess stirred up around this issue; or whether you've been so deeply wounded that 1) you can't see goodness or 2) you need to lash out. Either way--let it go! There's healing in the name of Jesus--seek Him. Try Trinity. I did, and found them warm and receptive. If we keep up the hatred, none of us wins. Think about it. Be blessed.
