Well done. My guess is that the output, if that circuit is anything like my JT's, can be some crazy high freq. with spikes that drives the meters, and even some scopes, nuts. To me, the proof is in the lighting of the leds, or whatever, and you have certainly done that. Nice work.

nice demo..
at a certain feq.. the secondary will put out negative pulses on both leads..
but still light a led both ways..weird
even if you use a bridge to a cap it will only show 2-5 volts
