This was a little treat for me. I love it when they speak different languages on the show and I speak most of them. I am a Professor of English language and literature, but I studied German for 10 years. After that, Spanish was extremely easy. And, by the way, I am from Serbia, and people here understand Bosnian, Croatian and all the languages from the former Yugoslavia. So, my point is that I love shows that make use of foreign expressions, even with sleazy characters like Rob. Kuss für Chris!

WOW I speak spanish as a mother thong...and you cant learn spanish in 3 months, spanish is one of the most difficult languages to learn....we have different times for everything....Copreterito, preterito, ante pasado, ante futuro, subjunctivo, presente etc... and it is not even similar to german.

But almost every language in Europe has something in coment, so saying that its not similar to german is not completely right :) And trust me, German is hard as hell to learn for a Dane, so it's not just Spanish how has difficult times.

Even though i'm not really a fan of hers it was really a great moment. The whole stadium was uplifted, at least for a few moments, after such a horrible tragedy. Sorry, don't mean to be a bummer.

Must say I'm quite enjoying the good times - bit I'm pretty sure we're being lulled into a false sense of security and when the bubble bursts it will go with a bang!!
In an interview for AfterElton Jo and Thore said there is a new big storyline coming soon. (Sometime in Sept.-Oct.) So I'm guessing we'll get our share of drama. I just hope it's not their last storyline. I will be heartbroken the day this couple leaves Verbotene Liebe. I know it is inevitable but one can dream of another three or four years of Chrolli.
(This doesn't count as a spoiler, right? If it does sorry.)
I can't help liking the fluff. I do feel nostalgic, though, for the days of more dramatic romance (declarations of love in the boxing ring, etc...) and hope that the potential for some good drama is explored as the marriage nears. It does feel like this is the calm before some unknown storm, like we're being lulled into a false state of comfort.
Oh, and I had the feeling that that New York, New York performance on their Vlog was too good to keep from the Show. Yay!
The Karaoke segment was great. Just plain old fun, and having a good time is always a nice thing to see. And Christian, I could watch and listen to him sing all day long. He can be quite the clown, and I love that !

Wow Thore's got a much better voice than I'd have thought - you can tell he's over hamming it and can probably sing very well in real life. Natalie's decent too, but we all know no one compares to Olivia (and elfin queen Fabian)
@StewNWT Nathalie has been on VL for quite some time! She shares a lifelong friendship with Carla and Leonard (von Lahnstein) and a deep friendship with Gregor too. She had a rather epic love/hate relationship with Ansgar. She also had a brief romance with Lars (Olli's uncle). Now she is paired with Matthias Brandner (Lydia, David & Fabian's father) but she already knows Constantin from her prior involvement with the Lahnsteins.
Danke schön as ever, Nanna. Chrolli's routine, their "Alltag", may be boring, but these cosy everyday interludes are great in their own way. Meanwhile, friends, there are edgy, (melo?)dramatic stories elsewhere. Roman and Deniz are anything but lovey-dovey at present. And as Egu022 says, Argentina's Manuel & Lalo offer "hotness through the roof" and a wild murder-filled plot (try the channel of "emsol"). I also loved Max & Iago, and their plotline likewise has/had its share of twists & turns.

This couple is better looking and although sometimes the story line needs a boost, I would choose it 1000 times over any other ones! Thanks for translating and posting these videos. @csenior03 Same here, although i do like Roman and Deniz, theyre story has, maybe a little TOO much drama? And far too much heartbreak. Its like a breath of fresh air to watch this, because even if it has minimal drama, its nice to just watch them being a couple, ya know doing couple-y things. But hey, thats just me ^^
@ichglotzutube watching Roman and Deniz always made my bad. One of them was always doing something stupid and they were never happy for more than a week or so. I love Olli and Christian much better. I don't find it boring at all i find it happy :)
@csenior03 Check out Manuel y Lalo from Botineras (Argentinian soap). A lot of action (people getting killed and abducted every day) and so bold in the portrayal of a gay couple. Hotness through the roof<3 (Not that there's anything wrong with Chrolli;-))
@ericnfan It's the best! I wish they'd have the same international fan base as Chrolli. MaLo is the edgiest portrayal of gay life (in soapland) I've ever come across. The fact that it takes place in the football world makes it even sexier in my opinion;-)
Those Argentinians are breaking a lot of taboos. Kudos to them and congrats on the gay marriage legislation!
don't worry... this script is built perfectly... and the writers are deliberately creating a lull for us to become more in love with the characters.

after all... this couple has now been involved in sending two sets of people to jail (where i am sure there will be repercussions for that) AND Olli is a bar owner and Christian trains horses for a living (sure professions that may have to deal with countless life issues and bring hardship).
Christian and Oliver are so sweet together... look how happy they are when they are singing New York New York at the end!!! <3 And just want to say, even though i haven't been following Christian and Oliver these days, but just watching some of the recent ones (July 27, 28, and 30th) makes me feel happy for them :) So glad that they make it through all the way up to now and continue to be that way~
lol the furniture in that apartment must be strong. christian is jumping on the table and they often sit on it. They jump into the sofa, over the sofa lol i think I need to find out where they shop as I stood om my dinning table three days ago to reach something and it broke and no I'm not heavy! Also if I jumped over my sofa like they often do I'd go straight into a brick wall lol

In an interview for AfterElton Jo and Thore said there is a new big storyline coming soon. (Sometime in Sept.-Oct.) So I'm guessing we'll get our share of drama. I just hope it's not their last storyline. I will be heartbroken the day this couple leaves Verbotene Liebe. I know it is inevitable but one can dream of another three or four years of Chrolli.
(This doesn't count as a spoiler, right? If it does sorry.)

I can't help liking the fluff. I do feel nostalgic, though, for the days of more dramatic romance (declarations of love in the boxing ring, etc...) and hope that the potential for some good drama is explored as the marriage nears. It does feel like this is the calm before some unknown storm, like we're being lulled into a false state of comfort.
Oh, and I had the feeling that that New York, New York performance on their Vlog was too good to keep from the Show. Yay!

The Karaoke segment was great. Just plain old fun, and having a good time is always a nice thing to see. And Christian, I could watch and listen to him sing all day long. He can be quite the clown, and I love that !

I actually like to see them happy. Watching one of those crazy storyline like in Roman and Deniz just stress me. But I do miss the Chrolli vlogs. Now that the big storyline is over they get less screen time.

Where did this Natalie person come from? Has she just been introduced to Constantin's storyline? Also, you realize how long Constantin's been on the show when you recall he originally had a shaved haircut.
Of course Olli has tons of cheesy New York paraphenalia.
Wow Thore's got a much better voice than I'd have thought - you can tell he's over hamming it and can probably sing very well in real life. Natalie's decent too, but we all know no one compares to Olivia (and elfin queen Fabian)

@StewNWT Nathalie has been on VL for quite some time! She shares a lifelong friendship with Carla and Leonard (von Lahnstein) and a deep friendship with Gregor too. She had a rather epic love/hate relationship with Ansgar. She also had a brief romance with Lars (Olli's uncle). Now she is paired with Matthias Brandner (Lydia, David & Fabian's father) but she already knows Constantin from her prior involvement with the Lahnsteins.

Danke schön as ever, Nanna. Chrolli's routine, their "Alltag", may be boring, but these cosy everyday interludes are great in their own way. Meanwhile, friends, there are edgy, (melo?)dramatic stories elsewhere. Roman and Deniz are anything but lovey-dovey at present. And as Egu022 says, Argentina's Manuel & Lalo offer "hotness through the roof" and a wild murder-filled plot (try the channel of "emsol"). I also loved Max & Iago, and their plotline likewise has/had its share of twists & turns.

@csenior03 You should try and watch the Roman and Deniz story line. That's more like a regular soap. I personally like watching them doing silly little couple's stuff but then tastes differ.

This couple is better looking and although sometimes the story line needs a boost, I would choose it 1000 times over any other ones! Thanks for translating and posting these videos. I would, and probably many others too, would be lost without you :o). The first time I saw Chrolli, I fell in love with them!!!

Its like a breath of fresh air to watch this, because even if it has minimal drama, its nice to just watch them being a couple, ya know doing couple-y things. But hey, thats just me ^^

@ichglotzutube watching Roman and Deniz always made my bad. One of them was always doing something stupid and they were never happy for more than a week or so. I love Olli and Christian much better. I don't find it boring at all i find it happy :)

@csenior03 Check out Manuel y Lalo from Botineras (Argentinian soap). A lot of action (people getting killed and abducted every day) and so bold in the portrayal of a gay couple. Hotness through the roof<3 (Not that there's anything wrong with Chrolli;-))

@ericnfan It's the best! I wish they'd have the same international fan base as Chrolli. MaLo is the edgiest portrayal of gay life (in soapland) I've ever come across. The fact that it takes place in the football world makes it even sexier in my opinion;-)
Those Argentinians are breaking a lot of taboos. Kudos to them and congrats on the gay marriage legislation!

don't worry... this script is built perfectly... and the writers are deliberately creating a lull for us to become more in love with the characters.
i am sure plenty of action is on the way.
after all... this couple has now been involved in sending two sets of people to jail (where i am sure there will be repercussions for that) AND Olli is a bar owner and Christian trains horses for a living (sure professions that may have to deal with countless life issues and bring hardship).

Christian and Oliver are so sweet together... look how happy they are when they are singing New York New York at the end!!! <3 And just want to say, even though i haven't been following Christian and Oliver these days, but just watching some of the recent ones (July 27, 28, and 30th) makes me feel happy for them :) So glad that they make it through all the way up to now and continue to be that way~

lol the furniture in that apartment must be strong. christian is jumping on the table and they often sit on it. They jump into the sofa, over the sofa lol i think I need to find out where they shop as I stood om my dinning table three days ago to reach something and it broke and no I'm not heavy! Also if I jumped over my sofa like they often do I'd go straight into a brick wall lol
