  • what about carboload, isnt that neccessary to use these other 3... or do u not need carbo load?

  • @EagleEyeKiller It's not absolutely necessary, but it does help to make sure your micro-herd has plenty to eat so it grows up big and strong.

  • i put sensi grow part a and b, and voodoo juice, in to my resovior in hydro...and something turned my roots from white to brown, but i dont think its root rot because i can see the brown in the bottom of the resovior and i have airstones, and on the clear tubes that go into the airstones, i can see the brown on it to. is that harmful? so far my plants look healthy.

  • Sounds like healthy microbial colonization.

Also the chelates in the base nutrients can sometimes stain roots a light tan colour...

Biological activity isn't always pretty, but as long as it's aerated, it can be very helpful to the crop.

  • do u know if AN will ever make a liquid version of tarantula and piranha like voodoo juice, or is it better to keep it in powder form for some reason?

  • And when using airstones in hydro, is there a such thing as too much water aeration? I used 4 12" airstones lastime, but I wanted to add a few more next time, could there be any harm in that?

  • Awesome. Glad to hear I remembered it right.

  • Hey G,

Great video! Yes, Carboload and H-2 help to nourish the beneficial strains of micro-organisms contained in the products. Piranha, Tarantula and Voodoo Juice introduce a full spectrum of beneficials, while the H-2 and Carboload help them to colonize in greater numbers...I heard that Voodoo Juice is even better now with the introduction of a new super strain into the formulation....

  • Hi Erik,

We should explain that H-2 is Humic Acid, which is derived from a rich, organic layer mined from on top of coal beds, called "leonardite." It creates an environment in your hydro grow, that closely approximates the humus (that fertile black organic soil that our grandparents grew their vegetables in). Glad to hear the "super" news about Voodoo Juice! BTW I love your videos and learn a lot from each one!

  • big bud is also food for bacteria

  • probably the full spectrum of L-Amino acids that you are referring to...

  • what do you think about big bud vs kushy kush. both have L-Amino acids.

and what do you think about the base nutirents sensi bloom part A and B vs. conisourrior part A and B?

    and carboload vs. bud candy?

  • both are excellent bloom booster formulations, although one is intended for a specific strain of a medicinal plant

connoisseur is a step-up from Sensi because it contains an even higher level of chelation (including Calcium) over Sensi, and contains bloom co-factors that make plants explode with flowers and fruits better than any other nutrient currently available. It's an amazing nutrient technology.

  • All Excellent products!Nice Vid!

  • Hey Van,

I read that you should use a bit extra of something to feed these critters to keep them healthy and growing in your solution. Isn't something like Carboload a good addition so you can keep your microbe colonies going?

    Or did I hear wrong?

  • Hey Kult,

Yeah, Carboload gives those little critters something good to eat (sugars) so they spread more quickly throughout your root system. Where did you hear that?

  • TBH I don't remember for sure. I think it was probably one of the "Hydroponics Secrets" episodes that Erik Biksa does. Maybe the Voodoo Juice episode - number 6? Or number 4, which was on Piranha and Tarantula. It's actually linked just to the right in the Related Videos but I'm too lazy to watch right now.

He usually watches your videos, right? He'd probably know. Maybe he'll read this and give us an answer.

Of course I might've just read it somewhere.

  • Cool stuff man!

  • what did i tell you buddy

this is how i grow my stuff u seen tha pics u no its huge

u get more work done if u nevr have a sick day

    ur plants r no diff
