that item you laid down is a DUMMY item, theres several that Nintendo decided to not put into the game but had them all named and included on the CD anyway.

Also you can't catch fish while walking on water, and if you go to the island in the winter time it gets snow down there as well, using the AR you can also unlock hidden games, i can only remember a couple like Super Mario Bros and LoZ, its pretty cool being able to emulate them from a GCN
