@LordNadir1 We tried supporting rebellions, Hussein, the Taliban, they are the end effects of them. Unfortunately a literal invasion was possibly the only viable solution, world never said people would love us for it, but it was still the right thing.

Personally I don't care how they see us, we removed tyrants, that's what counts. On the other hand a strategy I would have tried would have been to get Iran and Iraq into conflict, and then finish off the losing regime, there was already tension.

@LordNadir1 If we as in the UN and other international agencies mediated it and watched over it, innocent and civilian casualties could be restrained. Add in the influence of neutral Arab nations like yourselves and Egypt, the war could easily have been manipulated in the direction we wanted.

The only issue with that is influence from biased nations, like Syria, which may turn the tables.

Like when Benazir was killed, we were hit with rioting and many people predicted doomsday. the next day the streets were empty and the a couple of weeks later everything went back to normal. That's the way of Pakistan : )
