That level is hard. I have it on the GBA version. You start getting more concern over the fish than youself. This makes you crash into the fish. If you concentrate on yourself, the fish eats you.
I guess that's because the GBA version is a lot harder than than SNES. On SNES I really hit get in all 3 games. But in GBA ones with small screen, you can't see well sometimes and allows you to make impossible mistakes.
Not in Hard Mode on the SNES Version. Hard mode disables DK and Star Barrels (in most stages anyway).
I just recently played through this game 103%. :P I HATED this stage when I was a kid, now it was a cake walk (of course, I wasn't on Hard Mode. xD Hats off to you, Blaziken)

Yeah, this level IS hard... took me a LONG time to get the hang of it. But I'm pretty good at the level now.

In the GBA version. At the end, there's a barrel if you lost your Kong.

I've had the SNES version for a while, actually. I just didn't figure out how to record properly (not just using a tripod) until a while ago.

Well, now when I'm recording, I hook up my video camera to the pc via a video card whilst being plugged into the TV.
Then I can record it live and straight into Movie Maker.

I use an emulator, Snes 9x. Since you have the real game, then you can ''legally'' download the rom (not that everyone legaly download it >_>)
