The '1meal a day' concept is legit..The body rcgnizes around 90 nutrients..Some of these nutrients are only in abundace acording to the seasons. Hwvr, we've been brain washed into 'daily nutrition' and the 'more is better' concept. Consuming nutrient dense food 'several' times a day as opposed to obeying our bodys natural cycles. Blving the modern-day-dogma lgitmzes food superstores that have out-of-season foods avail. all yr round. More ppl would get it if they were forced to live off the land.
I'm a personal trainer and sports nutritionist and got started with the warrior diet as an experiment and I LOVE IT. I'm leaner and much more muscular, I am focused and sharp all during the day. Keep it up!!

Let me tell ya, I too found negative research done on one meal a day, but I also found TONS of positive and healthy beneficial reasons to eat this way,,EVEN for people who are diabetic, have cancer, high blood pressure.

I completely agree with you. It's simply a statement. I figure, if fasting by ourselves can have such a positive impact, then fasting together can make us a force of nature.
And a handstand contest DOES sound fun. lol I'd have to work on my upper body strength first. ;)

I actually started on the warrior diet shortly after you posted the first videos on this subject, and it has had such a positive effect on my life.I´ve lost exess bodyfat, while getting stronger and more muscular, and I have now progressed into the intermediate series of my Ashtanga practice.
But the truly amazing effect is the one on my mental and spiritual self.The energy and serenity.
I have been doing one meal a day for some time. It sure makes life easy.
I eat around 5 pm and never after 7pm.
The people that say you shouldn't are the same ones that eat 6 or more small meals a day making their body always work. I believe in giving it a break from digestion.
It does take time to get into it, it took me about 18 months but it also wasn't a goal. It just happened naturally.
Thank you! I love that there are some people who have come upon this naturally. It just goes to show how powerful the human body really is. If people truly listen to their bodies, it would lead them to great health.
