  • T.S.O.P. !!!!!!

  • ITS MORE DIRTY LAUNDRY FOR YOU AND YOURE GOONS

  • Awsome.

    thanks from Poland:)[Wrocław]

  • A true R&B (or whatever genre is) masterpiece, thanks for sharing.

  • juissi on hyvää

  • Holy shit, Philly Sound of the 70s! This was one of my favorite song from the movie. I wish there was a scene of the Latin Dancers dancing to this song

  • i love the song

  • Very good stuff. Love it. Thanks.

  • nice!thanks!! from tokyo japan

  • This used to be the theme that ABC used for it's Wide World of Sports show that used tocomeon Saturday afternoons in the '70s. Great memories.

  • Check out "Silvetti - Spring rain" if you like this.

  • Mellow man ace sampled this for welcome to my groove.

  • I always thought the MFSB verison (used in Saturday Night Fever), would be the theme of a desperate fight.

  • Well i never knew that K-Jee was an origin hit back in 1971 so thanks for that posting, had a listen to the Nite Liters version,im soooo used to the MFSB version i couldnt really get into it,expected it to speed up a bit but...nevertheless its great to hear a different version of one of my fave tunes....

  • Man I remember the early spring of 78, I had the eight track of "Saturday Night Fever" and this track sounded so cool to blast out of my dad's 1975 Gran Torino Station Wagon! I so totally love this song! The strings just filled where the horns didnt and the percussion! It was intoxicating! Its easy to see that this was disco. I never knew this was a cover until I found out the the original version of "K Jee" was actually recorded by the Nite Liters in 1971!

  • The original is better, this one is more commerical.

  • Boy, now this baby REALLY takes me back. I think it was originally released back in the early 70's and remember hearing it on the radio a lot. The image of sitting in the backseat of a '72 Chrysler Imperial while hearing this on the car radio is burned in my brain. I think the song is rather timeless, a great jam session for sure. Thnx for the post!

  • the sax solo in this rendition is better than the original by the nite-liters

  • Music in the early 21st century could take a page from this classic. It crosses all so called genres aka soul/funk, jazz, latin, and more.

  • its SAAAAALLLLSAAAAA!!!!

  • i like both versions. they both are nice.

  • It's not really Spanish all the way... but it's more Afro-Spanish ;-) . Whatever U wanna call it, it's a cut!!!!!

  • this is dope

  • Mother F--kin Son of a Bitch... MFSB

  • mother father sister brother

  • What does M.F.S.B. stand for?

  • this is very very cool

  • Takes me back to the days when the big three dominating their divisions, Ali, the heavyweight division, Carlos Monzon, the middle weight, and Roberto Duran, the lightweight division

  • my favourite track from saturday night fever. Didn't they replace this with a different track for the TV version? Ruined it for me! Thanx 4 a great posting!

  • Personally I think this is the BEST Disco track from SNF. Cant dance to this? You cant dance period.

  • still play this gem , when cooking , eating delicious food , inviting friends having a drink - its a great MFSB tune to chill out with

  • MFSB/Love Unltd. were the top pop/disco orchestras of the '70's. Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff never "fronted" vocals for their group, though, the way Barry White did. Still, they put out some of the best-ever arrangements and their best, I think, was Kenny's self titled "K-Jee". K-Jee was featured in the Saturday Night Fever sound track and the central dance contest scene in the same movie. Classic, absolutely fabulous.

  • You can't leave out Salsoul.

  • thanks u.s.a this was my dream to go to the states we loved this one from from a london soulman the best music

  • 1970s..the Golden Age

  • This song make me remember going down to Atlantic City in the Summer and getting on the rides at the Steel Pier.

  • played this gem on the US AIRWAYS plane into Charlotte . played it all over South Carolina . Then played it on the way back to the UK-Gatwick .

Justtotallylurveedthe TSOP - MFSB - Gamble & Huff music machine from the 1970s , THK YO U SO MUCH from a EnglanD FAN

  • The best music of the centuries: 1970s.Birthplace:USA and the United Kingdom. My opinion. Eliminated:Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America and Australia.

  • I hear ya

  • best "big band" disco song ever made...ever.

  • i was born in 1975, my mother listen that, i love too much

  • You can find this sone and a real romantic cut called My Mood on the MFSB album Universal Love 1975

  • Classe allo stato puro! Immortali!!!Lunga vita al Philly Sound!!

  • me encanta esta cancion! :)

  • I love mfsb, and every thing they played on out of philly. This song breathe's fire, i want' it when i die too.

  • MFSB recorded this in 1975.

  • Great Memories right here!!

    ~Thanks!!

  • Somebody have a remix of this tune? About 2002 i think- i heared it on Ministry of Sound-with voice

  • love it

  • MFSB had some really talented musicians and this track is simply awesome. For me one of the best instrumentals of the 70's.

  • This should have been promoted more on the now legendary SNF soundtrack album.

My all time favorite MFSB song mixing latin, jazz, R&B and disco into one. Somehing that missing in music now in early years of the 21st century.

  • i couldn't agree with you more. i want it played at my funeral. none of that morose pish know what ah mean boss?

  • Wow that is crazy I just said the same thing to my friend during New Years

  • i dont know if the attendees of the funeral would dig it though. gil scott heron's the bottle would be good also.

  • awesome!!!!

  • One of the best pieces of music ever, want it for my burial !

  • This is great!

  • jennapaul idiot, JAJAJA...

  • jennapaul, why did you told that thing, you dont like the music???

  • Fantastic video! I love it, thank you for posting it! I've been looking for this forever.

  • Sorry to burst you guys bubble, but this is not Mother Father Sister Brother. It's the Night-Lighters. My music politics are crazy!

  • Actually, this IS MFSB. I'm guessing what you mean to see is that the Nite-Liters did it FIRST. Nite-Liters version had no strings; MFSB and everybody else at PIR had strings and that's the dead give away. My politics are sane ;-)

  • Holy cat shit, you're right. My bad!

  • That's true, this is the MFSB rendition - however, I'll take The Nite-Liters' any day.

  • OH YEAH!!!!! Every time I hear this I feel like I'm in Vegas--and I've never been there!!!!!!

  • tremendo tema!! me veo en 1978,cuantos recuerdos!!

  • One of my all-time favorites.

  • play this everyday - timeless ! TSOP xx
