utter nonsense. Don't go around posting shit if you don't expect to be challenged. You don't know the first thing about what you're talking about. It's anti-fems like you that are part of the problem. What if you had a daughter? what would you hope for her? i'm not trying to piss you off. Put yourself in woman's shoes. better yet, poor womans shoe's. Would you like it if we lived in a matriarchal society? no i didn't think so. And i don't like living in a patriarchal one.
@YodetGherez Watch my video "How Would You Feel if Your Daughter Was in Porn?" for a response to that. If you'd bothered to watch my early videos on Gail Dines, you would know that I consider myself a supporter of Sex-positive feminism. And I never said I didn't expect to be challenged. Quite the contrary: I'm hoping that raving bat-shit hysteria from rabid cultists like you will bolster my book sales.
@jordanowen42 sex-postive feminism? well that's grand of you. i would like to go a step further and end rape (against both women and men) and pedophilia as soon as possible. but that's just the woman in me. 'rabid cultists'? i'm really not like how you describe. well said like a capitalist ''will bolster my book sales''. That's why me and you and not seeing from the same page. @YodetGherez And I'm really not like how you describe, so there. I'll refer you to my book for my thoughts on the idea of "ending rape." And for someone who is pro-capitalism, being called a capitalist isn't an insult. ;)
dworkin said she would like to see a man beaten with a high heel shoe in his mouth. I say I would have liked to see a father and son beat Andrea dworkin with blunt weapons, even though she is dead.
According to dworkin, the only union and cooperation of males/male bonding is predicated on the ideology of men destroying and subjugating women. It's pretty clear this savage wants to create a gender war and couldnt really give a damn for men's input in feminism
@YodetGherez Think? On the contrary, she said so herself. Not that my mind is besieged by the imposition, I could not give a shit less to the marginalizing corrupt dictum of feminism. With rabid hysterical beldames like Dworkin, feminism has long been discredited. May she rest in piss.
It's interesting that Dworkin claims to speak up for the victims of sexual abuse yet she is at the same time telling them that because they were abused that somehow prevents them from the right to make choices. Basically she's labelling people as victims and in her mind victims should be denied human rights.
@YodetGherez Your statement is your opinion, which you have every right to express. However, unlike you i don't speak for all women. Every individual makes their own choices.
these people (rad fems) wish to impose their views on all others, and they dress it up as 'tolerance/equality', however the tolerance/equality they seek to impose is their own, and anyone who deviates, even slightly, from this is punished severely for their transgression, all the while, those who set this policy are never, indeed CAN never, be called on this hate......sorry to rant
The thing is, I've seen many feminists and many feminists thinkers, Dworkin herself included, who were victims of sexual abuse in their life. So what does the argument about many porn actresses being victims of abuse really amount to? If their saying their judgment is somehow incapacitated by their abuse, should I stop listening to feminists who have been raped? Should I be suspect of the actions and words of any victim of sexual abuse?
@TheBiggestWolf Feminists don't seek a man's approval. That's the point. No wonder Radical Feminists a lot of the time reject men. cause so many are awful. like you.
I like my true and beautiful female aesthetics, so excuse yourself. If the world was full of feminists and faggety men like you we would only have ugly chicks running around.
Very good deconstruction. I did a whole series on MacKinnon recently where she basically explains the foundation of the idea that porn in of itself is oppressive to women and it's disturbing. Good Job Jordan
@Divinity33372 It's wonderful to see you two (and some other youtubers) deconstruct the various alleged social constructs. It pretty much fills me with some sort of delightful feeling whenever the radfems are called on their lack of evidence and misinterpretations.
They get away with far too much assumed credibility all because no one wants to offend the oppressed/victim/everywoman by ever questioning their claims. All scrutiny is sexist and patriarchal and misogynistic to them.
So people should make videos to entertain an audience, not to express their views? They should be ruled by what others find entertaining? Good one mister free thinker >_>
My skin is only a protective layer until it's not. One day it will be pierced or degraded and won't be anymore. That doesn't mean it isn't a protective layer NOW. The idea that fascism can never be free because it could potentially in future not be free, is as silly as saying my skin isn't protecting me because one day it won't, or might not, if it's cut or something.
@unassumption Your skin is yours- it isn't contingent on the autocratic whims of an external party. As long as your rights can be taken away from you then you aren't free, just tolerated.
it's contingent on external reality dude...if a rock fell on your skull, it'd crack and spill your brains, your brain remaining intact is contingent on the external rock. If you die of some disease, that pathogen (External) causes you to die. If you fall and scrape your knee, friction (External) scratches it. Either way, the skin is potentially broken. It doesn't have to be part of a person - a jar is "potentially broken" doesn't mean it IS broken...
@unassumption You're not differentiating between the natural environment and societal structure. The natural world does not observe any sociological constructs and to base your standard of freedom on it is to proclaim not anarchy but chaos as the natural mode for society. A human society is based on the human capacity to control nature, both animate and inanimate. A society is based not on the capacity of the ruling body to employ force but the terms under which force is employed.
@jordanowen42 Distinctions between natural and artificial seem arbitrary - every human action is the product of our natural composition, obeying natural laws. Agree we should fight against instinct if that's what you mean, but I don't know how that changes the validity of your argument. Maybe there's no freedom in a powerful state for some other reason but the fact that it could take it away, unless that wasn't your argument in full, doesn't appear adequate. Sorry if i'm being slow.
The consequences are the same if a rock falls or is pushed on you. Arguing weather something's natural, free, just, etc, seem semantic, i try and focus on what works. You can argue with Dworkin by pointing out what she's saying is factually in error, testable falsified for all practical purposes, no need to debate abstract concepts to disprove "the south won the civil war" which is as false as her claims. Man is just one part of nature taming the other bits with what it gave him.
Last part makes me think i didn't get your argument - the terms in which force is employed are what differ entiate kinds of society, but if a fascist state give you some freedom surely it uses force in a way that guarantees those freedoms, at that time, why does it matter that it could potentially if the situation changes become something else, a state that uses force differently? America could become fascist, UK could be commie one day, doesn't mean it is now =/
@unassumption America is structured against any kind of dictatorial system. Its not like you can just switch from one system to the next. You would have to shut down the system we currently have before it could be a dictatorship. We live in a system here where our human rights are understood as inflexible and inherit and thus we have the basis for freedom. In a dictatorship, any liberties we enjoy are not founded on freedom but on the whims of a higher authority. This means that you aren't free.
So your argument was "if it can change easilly, it's not real," makes a little more sense. Though just because the wording of a constitution claims rights are inalienable, (and by some interpretations, the ones most people work by noways no matter if it's true or not no one cares, came from the Creator) doesn't mean they are, things can change in ways words can't stop; Rome was a republic, athens a democracy, neither lasted forever despite their constitutional rights.
our rights are still founded on a higher authority - just we hide it behind all this talk of rights and values, of the people, the authority is the power the majority wield with their guns and grain, expressed via the ballot box. The supreme court can re-read our rights, as it did in the 1960s and 1860s, for whatever purpose it has in mind words are walls to nothing.
pharoh led through force, but hid it behind religion, as did most kings. The power at the foot of democracy is veiled behind all this morality speak, it's as meaningful as the divine right, if Cromwell wants to lop the king's head off he still can. It might be more difficult, less likely to happen, but that doesn't mean it can't happen at any time - look at the direction America headed under Bush no one could stop it if he wanted to wiretap ppl without warrens and stuff.
You don't need to go into this rights / freedoms wordplay BS when you could just say she's factually in error - women aren't hung by their genitals in public. Full stop. End of story.
Rights stem from those who enforce them and exist only insofar as people protect them at the point of a gun, be they private property, free speech, prohibitions on slavery and making people addicted to your products, etc. Freedom is what you are capable of achieving, with the resources at your disposal, without being punnished by the state for violating rights.
Doesn't matter if we have a right to do something if no one guarantees it. Doesn't matter if we're free but don't have resources to do
Is that ever right, 'a culture of victimhood' is exactly it. Indulging in that is celebrated and encouraged among the more crazy in the the cult. Dworkin really popularized it though by turning it into an accepted pseudo-sociology/psychology (you don't need no stinking evidence), and by affecting real world policy with her paranoia.
