The thing is, I've seen many feminists and many feminists thinkers, Dworkin herself included, who were victims of sexual abuse in their life. So what does the argument about many porn actresses being victims of abuse really amount to? If their saying their judgment is somehow incapacitated by their abuse, should I stop listening to feminists who have been raped? Should I be suspect of the actions and words of any victim of sexual abuse?

My skin is only a protective layer until it's not. One day it will be pierced or degraded and won't be anymore. That doesn't mean it isn't a protective layer NOW. If you die of some disease, that pathogen (External) causes you to die. If you fall and scrape your knee, friction (External) scratches it. Either way, the skin is potentially broken. The natural world does not observe any sociological constructs and to base your standard of freedom on it is to proclaim not anarchy but chaos as the natural mode for society. A human society is based on the human capacity to control nature, both animate and inanimate. A society is based not on the capacity of the ruling body to employ force but the terms under which force is employed.

Agree we should fight against instinct if that's what you mean, but I don't know how that changes the validity of your argument. The consequences are the same if a rock falls or is pushed on you. Arguing weather something's natural, free, just, etc, seem semantic, i try and focus on what works. You can argue with Dworkin by pointing out what she's saying is factually in error, testable falsified for all practical purposes, no need to debate abstract concepts to disprove "the south won the civil war" which is as false as her claims. Man is just one part of nature taming the other bits with what it gave him.

Last part makes me think i didn't get your argument - the terms in which force is employed are what differ entiate kinds of society, but if a fascist state give you some freedom surely it uses force in a way that guarantees those freedoms, at that time, why does it matter that it could potentially if the situation changes become something else, a state that uses force differently? You would have to shut down the system we currently have before it could be a dictatorship. So your argument was "if it can change easilly, it's not real," makes a little more sense. Though just because the wording of a constitution claims rights are inalienable, (and by some interpretations, the ones most people work by noways no matter if it's true or not no one cares, came from the Creator) doesn't mean they are, things can change in ways words can't stop; Rome was a republic, athens a democracy, neither lasted forever despite their constitutional rights.

Rights stem from those who enforce them and exist only insofar as people protect them at the point of a gun, be they private property, free speech, prohibitions on slavery and making people addicted to your products, etc. Freedom is what you are capable of achieving, with the resources at your disposal, without being punnished by the state for violating rights.
