i started growing vegetables in large pots a couple years ago . i use only potting soil and have had real good luck with tomatoes cucumbers jalapenos and leaf lettuce and green onions. this year i am trying bush green beans and zuccini in pots. i hope they do well. container gardening is so much easier to keep weeds at bay.

I agree, garden soil is bad for container gardening. I made that mistake the first time. I use a potting mix now and it works great.
