I was at that game with the Hull booster group wearing my Worrell jersey and getting heckled by the Granby fans. Worrell beat him the year before and this was the much anticipated, much hyped rematch (just like Slapshot). Cool thing is they are very good friends now. They were by far the 2 best fighters in the Quebec Junior League 2 years straight.

I can't believe this fight is on here, its the 1st time I've seen it since Feb 96 (when it happened) Thanks to the person who posted it.

The reason why Peter Worell was not that good it is because he learnt skating like 1 year before the Junior. The team (Hull Olympiques) was looking for a goon and they paid the hockey stick and the skates of Peter. The guy probably didnt know what hockey was all about before that ! And Big Pete played in the NHL just enough time to make some big ass money ! Its like the American Dream ... for a French dude.
