How much did the red one cost? because i jus bought one of ebay for like 3-4 quid, will it show a beam at night? and the one im getting is 1 mw... it sais on ebay that its ultra powerful beam light... is that true?

@Giorgioproable Red one cost around 2$ shipping include, no you can't in anyway see the whole line of the beam with 1mw, except with a fog machine. In this video the line you can see is not the line of the beam, it's only a horizontal line for workers and builders to show the right angle.

@joshua4640 No it would never burn anything, but there is some cheap chineese green lasers that states their lasers a 1mw but they do 50mw IR so it can burn but it will mostly burn your eyes. Otherway a real 1mw or 1mw red laser pointer will never burn anything.

I had a 5mw red laser a while ago, you could just about see the beam if the laser was aimed past your own head

beam is visible through fog or smoke. as well as dust.but smoke is way cool!!

Do you mean the line of the laser from the pointer to the dot ? Then for this with 1mw you need fog, on this video it is really a 1mw red laser without fog but it is normally used in construction to see if things are horizontal or vertical, the shape of the beam is a line, but I can't see at all the whole line from the pointer to the wall.

lol good thing they allow lasers over 5mw to the u.s but most companies are scared cuz of FDA so they dont sell to u.s customers but dragonlasers and wicked lasers still sell.

no, this one is 50mW.

for the person who asked how does the red laser have a line, it's because it's the laser from a "level meter" for people who build houses to see if it is right or not.

you can buy some 200mw red on ebay wich burn much than the very expensive green burning ones

Buying anything other 10mw on ebay is blinding yourself because they dont have ir filters so usually it's just a 35mw red so your being cheated out of 165mw of red light the rest is IR and safety glasses are completely opaque to IR and just by pointing it at a surface the reflection damages your eyes oh and ir is invisible you can sometimes see it with nightvision on a video camera

No because red lasers doesn't need any crystals so they do not emit IR, it's why red lasers a better
