There is only "First Responder" and "View controller" where your two little buttons were when you held CTRL and dragged it to the web view. It doesn't show me the outlet i created
Check to be sure that when you build in the interface builder, youre using the same simulator (if you built the UI for iPhone, use the iPhone simulator)
Great vid, really helpful. Could you make one on how to like make a menu? For multiple websites in one app ?
Hey, nice tutorial, however whenever I do what you do and then open the app, I get the splash screen and then a white screen; the web page doesn't load. Do you know how to fix this? It's probably because I have a different version of Xcode than you did when you made this tut.
Your tutorials are great. Im looking for a tutorial similar to this one. Do you have a tutorial that does the following:
When you first open the app you are presented with several buttons. The buttons would be linked to different websites. When the button is pressed the website would load within the app complete with a back button (so you can return to the list of buttons) rather than opening in Safari?
@datainajar hey check out the xcode tutorials on storyboards 1.27 and 1.28. Those will help you put together the buttons and then connect that concept with the UIWebView internally. Hope that helps!
Dude thanks so much. This was driving me insane as I couldn't find a tutorial that explained it nicely in Xcode 4. Thanks again :D
