anybody who is interested in ho model trains should rlly come to wilson nc and visit the antique barn and hobby shop which majors in ho scale trains. also come on a saturday and come upstairs to see one of the largest ho scale layouts in nc. its all dcc and has working signals. all controlled by digitrax.

At tom trains in cary,nc the dash 8 cw goes for only 139.00$ same price as the csx ac6000cw BLI. Do those engines run good when it will be all wired and what Dcc system do you have.

Those engines are HO scale Atlas Master Gold series Dash-8's, w/ sound. I think they go for somewhere around 259.95 through Walthers, but I'm sure you can get a better deal somewhere. I know this because of the fact that those are the only Atlas Dash-8's w/ sound, and he said they were Atlas.

ques: do u no how to make rust streaks like down the side of covered hoppers? im tring to do that with just a few of mine but each time i do it, the "streaks" turn out flat an thick like u can tell they where just "painted" on. its driving me nuts..so i quit for a while. haha

No, I don't have DCC. My layout really isn't even wired yet. But there's really no point in me having DCC with a small layout. Someday when I have a larger layout I will go w/ DCC.
