In reality she may well have harboured a secret fantasy (like many women > female celebrities, etc...?) to get dressed up > made up, and have her hair > clothing plastered, and her knickers filled with cream....even in front of millions!
This point notwithstanding, I can't think of any other female celebrity at the time in question who was more deserving of such a reputation crushing gunging bar Carol Vorderman.
It's funny how many of these celebrities initially act shocked & terrified at the realization of what is about to befall them, only to subsequently reveal that they are really loving every second of the escapade.

Trivia Fans: She used to be married to Midge Ure of Ultravox fame and their daughter is lead singer of probably now defunct girl guitar band The Faders.
She spotted a hidden camera while Noel was trying to do a "Gotcha" on her, and therefore she sussed him out and ruined it. As revenge for being outsmarted, he had her gunged.
