@yahoochiewatchie no amps were harmed in this video. i used a line 6 pod xt live direct into the mixer. what you hear is the camera picking up my pa speakers.
Sound's really good me, very nice playing. Me i just have a Gretsch 5129 electromatic, but is still rocks, but one day I will own a Falcon and get rid of my cardboard cut out. Good Job though my friend.
@bltzkrgr161 It's not just one scale. It's many. He's using whatever notes are in the chord and a few more. You might not exactly get what I'm saying right now, but once it clicks, you'll be rockin'.
I would think my nephews were playing. Except they play it right handed. Never saw anyone play left handed. Thats awesome. We have 14 musicians, and 6 of them are guitar players, that can play any style also... And we have 7 ministers.. All started out of us 4 siblings, and grew and grew. we are blessed..
I also own a lefty gretsch, aBrian Setzer model but sounds really bad (it must to be me). Can you tell us the amp and pedals you use to get this sound? Witch pickups are installed in the guitar?
the guitar is completely stock. i dont use an amp. i go direct to the PA system using a line 6 pod xt live pedal. i am using a twin reverb setting with a little bit of slapback delay and some reverb. thats it. thanks!!!
Thanks. I changed my stock strings by a set of d'addario .011 - .049 and the sound was a lot better. I changed the stock bridge by a roller tunematic style that helped a lot to eliminate the buzz in my bridge, it is a cheap addon that help a lot to let the bridge steady when using the tremolo (it also makes the bending a lot easier to do with those big strings). Cheers from spain.
damn this is awesome... i used to play as lefty n then started playing as righty cause we had a righty guitar so i had to get used to it... now i cant play as lefty but like a righty
i bought mine along with a white penguin thru rockys street sound music in new york. i've seen him offer lefty white falcons and penguins quite often. dont know if he ships out of the country, but it wouldn't hurt to check on it and see.
as for tabs.....i make it up as i go along. whatever i feel that day, i play. every day is different and very reftreshing. thanks for the comments
