I first saw the opening of this horrifing disater of a disater film when it came of the CBS tuesday night movie in 1982. In 1991, i was bafaled @ one scene, how can a skyscraper keep on burning? A fire that giantic would melt the metal and causes it to collapse completly as in the world trade center did. And, what are London fire trucks doing in this film racing down a non-fire city scene?!? This film was so wrong in so many ways. This why they created the golden razzies a year later in 1980.

I didn't think that it was that bad a movie. It had Henry Fonda and Leslie Nielsen in it and it depicted firefighters as the heroes that they are.
