  • I'm a fan of the soundtrack and the game had an awesome Gothic look. Very dark

  • I didnt like first time i heard it, but then i closed the emulator, went to do something else...and this song dont wanna get out of my head till today, i just love it, along with

Sucessor of Fate and others, but the soundtrack of this game is really weird.

  • fantastic track, I love it.

  • i know people have criticised this game for its nes-like soundtrack but i think its all good, melodic and catchy especially this track

  • It only had nes-like quality because the low qual music made way for better graphics. All in all this game is bad ass

I'm skeptical of that. Plenty of other GBA games managed to both look and sound great.

However, I've heard that the development team had never worked on the GBA before, and didn't know the system's capabilities. I think it's just a matter of experience.

That said, the tunes themselves are very nice.

  • yeah your right. only thing is that i am absolutely baffled that nobody on the development team knew about the GBA's sound capabiltiies? Nobody at Konami? They must have played Circle of the moon?

  • @cartrifride

I think they were made by different parts of Konami. HoD was made by KCE Tokyo, while CotM was made by Konami Computer Entertainment Kobe. It may be that KCET didn't know as much about the GBA as KCEK did.
