Americans and their Allies have abiyt 170 00 soldiers in A-Stan.

They were alone unlike American and it's allies. They were in same situation like Americans in Vietnam, the people wanted them to come back to Russia.
Also, war was hard because CIA sent Stingers to Afghans so they dropped Russian helicopters. Russians are not aggressor in Chechnya, Chechen's are the aggressors, they attacked to Russian land several times.
