@CR1257 i did too! infact i still have this episode on VHS, i got it for easter as a kid when i was all goosebumps crazy! this was probably the best goosebumps episode.
I am an Are You Afraid of the Dark fan. This is the only episode of Goosebumps I ever saw and it scared me just as much as the scariest AYAOTD episodes.
The Tale of the Vacant Lot is comparable. Haunted mask had a more enjoyable buld up, but Vacant Lot had a more enjoyable ending for me though. Haunted Mask was more "believable" though.
@jcckidz OMG.... you took th words right out of my mouth! i had this on videotape and its the only episode that scared me as a kid. but i was deifnetly all about AYAOTD, that show was muuuuch better, not as cheesy as this one was. many o the other goosebumps episodes were just silly, but this one rocked.
