Actually, this version was never in Negima. Happy Material just happens to be a popular song, so singers in Japan who were never involved with the anime sing it themselves, like Rayto here and Haruko Momoi in her other HM song. Heck, there's even a version that has Nonoka Ai singing it completely by herself in her Konoka voice (she voices Konoka in Negima).
