I haven't watched this serise of American Idol but it makes me wonder why she couldn't sing like that with We are the Fallen or atleast join a band that isn't rock. Reading all of your posts, your just about as deluded as the amybots. Amy fired one person and it wasn't ben. Ben left on his own for reasons only "they" know. Also, Amy was and has always been the primary writer. Ben did write a few great songs on Fallen including My Immortal. He is hardly the writing and driving force behind EV.
@LeFemmeCrystal Have you actually LOOKED at the writing credits for Fallen? With the exception of Tourniquet, which was a cover, Ben co-wrote EVERY song on the album. Same goes for the Origin album.
As for being deluded, I'm a huge Evanescence fan. That said, it gets tiresome with the Amy fanboys thinking that she's the ONLY reason Evanescence is where they are.
Obviously not that big of a fan or you would now that Amy primarily conceived most of the music minus 3 songs that ben directly wrote and Tourniquet from Rocky's previous band.

I caught her for the first time with her group "We are the Fallen" in Atlanta the other night. This lady has some pipes. I could only suggest that the sound engineers let her voice shine through a bit more. I could hardly hear her over the albeit great instruments. It would be better if they didn't drowned out her instrument. That's up to the guy on the board though.

Love her and her voice but she will never measure up to amy lee and evanescence. the only original evanescence menber is ben moody and apparently ben still wanted a group that had a really similar but not same sound to evanescence

@MissRikki18 So working with Ben Moody (who wrote all of those songs with Amy Lee) implies copying Amy Lee? She didn't change her look at all. Ben didn't change his style of writing. You want them to stop "copying" Amy Lee, that's cool. How's about Amy Lee stop performing all those songs Ben wrote....

Reading all of your posts, your just about as deluded as the amybots. Amy fired one person and it wasn't ben. Ben left on his own for reasons only "they" know. Also, Amy was and has always been the primary writer. Ben did write a few great songs on Fallen including My Immortal. He is hardly the writing and driving force behind EV.

@LeFemmeCrystal Have you actually LOOKED at the writing credits for Fallen? With the exception of Tourniquet, which was a cover, Ben co-wrote EVERY song on the album. Same goes for the Origin album.
As for being deluded, I'm a huge Evanescence fan. That said, it gets tiresome with the Amy fanboys thinking that she's the ONLY reason Evanescence is where they are.

Obviously not that big of a fan or you would now that Amy primarily conceived most of the music minus 3 songs that ben directly wrote and Tourniquet from Rocky's previous band.

@LeFemmeCrystal Once again... LOOK at the writing credits on Fallen, Origin and the EP's. EVERY song other than Hello and Tourniquet were either written or co-written by Ben. That's plain and simple fact that you can not disprove. Amy "conceived" all that music WITH Ben. That is why the Open Door wasn't as tight. That is why it's taken her this long to do the next album. She doesn't have Ben there holding her hand. I love Amy Lee's voice. Truly do. But the "Amy did it all" bs gets old.

I caught her for the first time with her group "We are the Fallen" in Atlanta the other night. This lady has some pipes. I could only suggest that the sound engineers let her voice shine through a bit more. I could hardly hear her over the albeit great instruments. It would be better if they didn't drowned out her instrument. That's up to the guy on the board though.

I don't think she meant to sound like Amy Lee... she can't help it if she does. And if she likes that kind of music, and finds her voice suitable for it, I think it's alright for her to do that kind of music. Many different bands do the same genre, it could be the case here.

I'm just upset that they stole songs from amy lee. it's like its bad enough they left amy knowing NO ONE's voice can ever be like amy or look like amy. they were dumb enough to leave her, so atleast have some dignity and make your own songs! i like their song, bury me alive, and i will only listen to song they write themselves. why did amy leave?
