imo mac hardware is great but the OS is like a locked down linux. Though if you're looking for epic hardware all you need a screwdriver, soldering iron & a ps3 with firmware 3.55 or less and you can exploit Sony's epic hardware. 22.4ghz(7*3.2) processor for 6-15x cheaper than the best computer you'll find on the market.
