You're a fine builder and, just as important, a fine video maker. The skills and tips you show ARE applicable in many models. The paint tips and patience you show are good for new and greybeard modelers alike. Thanks mate!
I've been using the same stuff for all the heatshields, or sometimes even ducts and whatnot, and as there are a lot of different ones (silver, gold, shiny, matte, smaller patterns, bigger patterns), you can just pick the right one for the job at hand. Works like a charm.
That glue is very nice, I used my normal modeling cement on the windshield of my 1932 Ford sedan and the glue spread on the windshield and hazed up lol.
When you were gluing that windshield you had me nervous because you were handling that car body with your bare hand. I hate polishing fingerprints off clearcoat but as always a fantastic job on your part.
Thank you again Minihorse, you make a very good point. I really should invest is some of those jewelers gloves. I guess I save myself by not touching the model for at least two weeks after clear coating. I leave my final wax until last and I find that removes all my fingerprints LOL
