@dony95srl Isuzu is actually a very renowned company. Their heavy duty trucking industry is the largest in the world. Ford Chevy, and Dodge are indeed famous here in the states, but them being famous companies doesn't mean they necessarily make the absolute best cars. That's like saying Walmart sells better bikes than your conventional specialty bike shop. Isuzu made some very well designed trucks. The Trooper being one of them. I'd personally buy a Trooper over an Explorer any day.

I have an '02 Trooper 3.5L 4x4 and I would like to say it's tough but I just replaced a new 4x4 vacuum solenoid (dealer part only) for over $200! I've put over $1,500 in repairs and now I've got to replace a cv axle and tie rods! I just hope to make it through this winter in Cleveland, Ohio then it's up for sale.

None of them stayed on my drive-way for more than a year. The Explorer was the First to go because of the fact that it spun out and put me in the path of a Dodge Ram on a gravel road on my way to my rig, and i was goin 20MPH!!! It had brand new tires and everything!!!

I did however love my 98 Crown Victoria to death, but i had to sell it because it was getting old. Now i own 2 Durangos which have Extremley smooth rides and poweful engines. And a 2001 trooper that i have owned for 9 years. The Build quality Space, And features offered in the Trooper for its price is truly unbeatable! I have not had a single problem to this day!
