  • YES, Very well done...vocals and guitar! I love the guitar melody/licks. I am a fond fan of Jimmie Rodgers....cut my teeth on Jimmie R.--Vernon Dalhart, Wilf Carter(Montana Slim) and early Hank Snow, 78 rpm's,...so yes, thank you for posting....and thanks too,to "jerlan23".....I enjoyed this very much! .... singingord

  • Nice recovery after the slip-up on the lyrics at the end. It was better than if you hadn't slipped up.

  • It's tough for me to keep my eyes dry whenever I hear this song. It could be a biography of my Dad during the Great Depression. He was one of the millions of men who rode the freight trains around the country looking for work.

  • Mighty dang nice. Both the vocal and the instrumental. Where have you guys been?

  • @jerlan23 Here I am, replying to my own comment. Is that anything like talking to yourself? Anyway, I come back to this time after time, to listen to the pickin'. Great guitar work. Hope anyone who enjoys hearing guitar will check out ichingiching on Red River Valley.

  • Now that was a fair-to-middling job of the great Jimmy Rodgers rendition of "Waiting on a train"......thanks, I enjoyed it very much

  • I like it! Great job ...
